Monday morning, I had to come to work late because I wanted to personally visit the site we're planning to build our shop. It was near a university, church and other mall so it's the perfect spot.
When I came back to the office, everyone was dead silent and you could almost hear a pin dropping. I could feel multiple sets of eyes following my every move, but none of them was brave enough to hold my gaze. Not Sloane though. That woman always made it a point to challenge me with her eyes.
