Chapter Eighty-Two

After dinner with Sloane's family and when my parents came back from their trip, Sloane and I had dinner at the mansion so we could tell them the good news. Sophia couldn't come because it was already late, but we promised to take her next time.
We wanted to make it a little more special so we prepared a box containing baby things and gave it to them. They opened it simultaneously and like Sloane's family, Mom and Dad couldn't contain their happiness and Mom even cried. They congratulated us and expressed how happy and excited they are to be grandparents again.
"I'm planning on proposing to Sloane, Mom and Dad. I don't want to lose her again and I want to spend the rest of my life with her." I told my parents when we're alone.
