Shrishti: (in mind) maybe that day that view settled in my heart in a way that I didn’t even realize what I am drawing…..

Monika: oh my Picasso…… where are you lost….

Shrishti: no….no…. nothing….. I just remembered something.

Monika: OK now, It’s already very late….. Go and sleep…… (Shrishti makes a disgusting face hearing the word called sleep) see, no need to make this face OK….. Without any tantrums go and sleep, otherwise I have nuclear weapons too….. You know….. (She said smirking)

Shrishti: OK my lord…… Going…..I know both of you very well…. You and your nuclear weapons…..

Making sure that Shrishti slept, Monika left the room after switching off the lights…..

Here Kabir reached home late and found that Basant was already asleep….. Maybe he was waiting for Kabir for a long…

Kabir: Oh my dear god….. What I have done to you….. I have only one single friend that is also like this…… (He said, looking upward dramatically). Now he is sleeping like a baby and I don’t have the heart to wake him up….. Basant, bro, I’m leaving you now, but will not in the morning….(after murmuring to himself, Kabir left to change)

He had dinner and slept because, to who he had planned to talk the whole night is already in the lap of deep sleep……..

Next day

Basant woke up before Kabir….. He went to prepare breakfast for both of them…. As Kabir loves the grilled sandwich made by basant….. Soon, Kabir also woke up and after getting fresh before he could go out of the room, Basant came in the room with a tray in his hand…..

Kabir: hey Basantii you are awake already…. Where were you man…..

Basant: see….. If you call me that one more time….. then, my dear friend, I’ll eat all these sandwiches alone….. and yes, your most loved tea too….. (He said in all seriousness)

Kabir: hey….. Hey….. No…no no no…… don’t please don’t do this injustice to me….. I’m sorry sollyyyy……. (He started his drama and earned an eye roll from the bassant)

Basant: ok ok…. Now enough of your drama….. Come sit…. Otherwise, it will get all cold…..

Kabir: yeahh….. That’s my basanti…..he bites his tongue) sorry sorry….. Basant…….(he said, holding both his ears cutely)

Both of them enjoyed breakfast together and made plans to pass their Sunday happily…….

Here Shrishti was very excited about her new office and was planning everything for her first day in the office….. Seeing her so happy, her family was also very happy…… The whole day passed like this….. at night Shrishti decided to sleep early so there should be not a single chance of getting late…….

Monday morning

Shrishti: mammaaaa……… where is my white shirt….. I’m not able to find that….. (She was shouting like a little kid)

S/mom: oh that…… I threw in the washing machine….. wear something else….. (Mom said from kitchen while preparing her breakfast)

Shrishti: damn it…. that was my lucky champ…..I wanted to wear that only on my first day at the office…. Now what do I do…..

Finally, Shrishti selected a decent shirt with a pair of jeans….. Left her hair loose and wrapped a matching scarf around her neck….. she took her famous artistic look and came out of her room to have food and after listening to thousands of do’s and don’ts s from mom she left for the office which was 30 minutes away……

Here in the office

Kabir came on his regular time and started his work according to his to-do list……. Meanwhile, he was working, Kushi entered with a basket in her hand……

Khushi: may I come in sir…..

Kabir: yes….. Come in…..(he said, working on his laptop)

Khushi: excuse me sir….. Someone sent this to you from a pet company…..

Kabir: oh!! So, finally, it is here……. Keep it on the table…. (He said, looking at her)

Khushi: but sir….. What is it…?

Kabir: just give me a minute….. (He kept his laptop aside and took the basket from her hand)

He opened the basket with a heartwarming smile……. And a little IHASA pup jumped out and directly landed on Kabir……… and started l*****g his whole face……. He was enjoying her cute antics…….

Kabir: hey…… easy…… easy….. Baby… stop (surprisingly she stopped on his single command)

Khushi: aww….. sir…. She is so cute…..

Kabir: hmm….. So let’s give her a name then…..(he thought for a minute then exclaimed) this is my CHIKU (he said kissing her and chiku moved her little tail to show her happiness)

Khushi: OK sir, I’ll take your leave……

Kabir thought of playing a little with chiku and then continuing his work……

Here Shrishti reached the office and asked the receptionist about her appointment……. She guided Shrishti to meet khushi……. Shrishti went near the little chamber of khushi to ask her about the further proceeding……

Shrishti: excuse me….. Miss…

Khushi: yes……

Shrishti: good morning….. I’m here for the post of designing head….. Here is my appointment letter….

Khushi: Oh so you are Shrishti…. Glad to meet you madam…… Sir is waiting for you….. For the leftover little formalities you have to meet him….

Shrishti: Yes why not….. Where is his cabin……?

Khushi: let me show you……

Khushi led Shrishti towards Kabir’s cabin and, after leaving her at the door, she went back to her chamber…… Shrishti took a deep breath and opened the door……

Shrishti: may I come in sir…??

She found a curly haired man standing there facing the other side….. His face was not visible but somewhere he was looking like someone familiar to her……. The man (Kabir) turned and before she could register the identity of the person, Chiku jumped from his hands and ran towards Shrishti…….
