SEEKING PEACE

whole night kabir was in deep thought and finally he decided that sitting alone in the hotel room clueless is not a good idea, he should also go and explore the city……. Called pink city…….

Next morning around 7 shrishti heard someone knocking the door…… she lazily got up and went to open it and found kabir standing there….. almost ready to go somewhere……

Kabir: hey….. good morning…….

Shrishti: good morning…….what’s up…..

Kabir: ceiling……

Shrishti: what…??

Kabir: leave it..!!.... actually I wanted to ask you something…

Shrishti: yes say….

Kabir: as you said last night, that I can find peace with myself… I just need to explore myself and I felt that….. so I’m here to ask you would you like to go on sightseeing with me…….as we both are alone……

Shrishti was silent for a while, maybe she was trying to decide that she should go with a stranger or not….

Kabir: it is completely fine if you don’t wanna come with me….. I understand…no problem….(he turned to go)

Shrishti: Ok done….. we are going together….(he turned again happily)

Kabir: are you sure……

Shrishti: yes…… two are always better than one….. well otherwise also you don’t look like kidnapper…. So yaa….. let’s go together it’ll be fun….(he laughed at her joke) just give me 30 minutes to get ready then we’ll leave ok…

Kabir: sure….

After doing breakfast both of them left for sightseeing…… firstly they went to the most famous place Nahargarh palace…. Both were in awe seeing the beauty of the fort….. shrishti was seeing each and every corner of it in detail and side by side she was telling kabir in detail about the fort like how it made and to whom it belonged and everything….. he was really wondering that how she knows this much about this place but he didn’t asked…….

Soon they went hawa mahal…… kabir was just roaming clueless but shrishti was enjoying every single bit of it….. seeing her clicking pictures through her camera he sat on a side and was seeing her only how happy she was…… her face was showing another level of calmness……

Kabir:(in mind) how can someone be this happy….. or is it me who is not understanding or maybe don’t want to understand anything….. why even after trying hard I’m able to find peace…. Why I’m stuck in the battle of heart and mind…… just whyyy…..

He came out of his thoughts feeling a tap on his shoulder…… yes it was shrishti……

Shrishti: hey…..!! kabir what happened where are you lost…..

Kabir: no….no….nothing…… just was thinking something….. you tell are you done with your photo session….. (he asked to change the topic)

Shrishti: yeahh…… come let me click yours too…… (she asked excitedly)

Kabir: oh no no…. no need….. actually I don’t like clicking pictures of mine specially…..

Shrishti: why….. everyone likes it….. ca mon…. go go stand there….. fast….. (he made face but seeing her cutness he agreed) very good….

She clicked many picks of kabir and on her insistence he also clicked her…… soon it was night…… both of them decided to go back to the hotel……

While walking towards their room both were discussing about the places they were going to visit next day…. Actually kabir was only listening, shrishti was telling him everything as he was unaware of the places……..

Soon after wishing good night to each other both went in their respective rooms….. today kabir was feeling little relaxed after roaming clueless with a person like shrishti who was living her each and every moment in present without any tension of future and regret of past……..

Sometimes we don’t get peace which we seek from our closed ones but unexpectedly receive utmost peace and calmness from a complete stranger…… kabir was sitting on his bed crossing legs…. He was thinking about whole day he spent with her and with himself indeed….. automatically he sighed calmly with a little smile of satisfaction on his face…. He was about to lie down and sleep but his phone started beeping abruptly……

“MOM” was flashing on the screen……

he ignored and layed down facing towards window….. his eyes were closed but he was not asleep yet… again his phone ranged…. This time “DAD” was flashing….. getting irritated he got up and sat again crossing his legs and waited for call to get disconnected…… as soon as call disconnected he switched OFF his phone and again lay down hugging a pillow……..

Kabir: I know why you are calling me again and again but I’m not gonna talk to you both till I’m here at least…..

Soon he fell in deep slumber……..

Here shrishti was wide awake….. there was not a single sign that she is planning to sleep…. She was sitting near her window and was wondering on the beauty of the city…… getting excited she took out her diary and started writing her experience of past 2 days…….. she was writing with complete focus but suddenly she stopped remembering kabir…….as she was writing about her meeting with him….. she dropped the pen and fell in deep thinking……

Shrishti: I don’t know what but there is something with kabir....... he is here all alone even I am here alone too but he is sad…. What’s the matter….. don’t know why but his eyes shows the pain he is suffering internally but after all who I am to ask…… we are just together on this trip for merely 2 3 days….. but I’ll try to make him happy….. yeah…. (thinking all this something shine in her eyes)

She got up from the chair and drowned herself in the bed and soon she was in deep sleep…..
