Ethan regretted teasing Daisy by hugging her close, but he hadn't anticipated that she would start touching him.
He felt her gentle movements and his desire for her surged uncontrollably.
The intensity and suddenness of his desire for her took him by surprise.
It was so strong, so overwhelming, he feared that if she continued her teasing, he might lose control and devour her like a wolf.
Just as Daisy gathered her courage to continue exploring, Ethan released her and lazily turned over, his back now facing her.
Daisy quickly got up and successfully pulled her driver's license out of his pocket.
Despite the chaotic ordeal, she managed to get her license back!
Like a happy little rabbit, she tiptoed into the living room, but under the lamp, her excitement turned to fury!
It was a membership card!
After all her effort, all she got was this useless piece of plastic.
"f**k!" Daisy was so angry she could cry.
On the bed, Ethan heard her muttering curses and felt immensely pleased. The frustration of not recovering his memories seemed to dissipate in an instant.
Ethan slept soundly that night, but Daisy was too angry to sleep.
The next morning, Daisy stood by his bed, feeling a surge of frustration. The more she looked at him, the more she wanted to tie him up and give him a good beating.
Ethan seemed to sense her irritation and woke up suddenly.
The sight of Daisy's dark expression looming over him startled him.
"Scared? How I wish I could kill you with just my gaze!" Daisy muttered, "Your injuries seem to be healing well. You should start looking for your family. Our living together like this isn't really working out."
Ethan lounged on the bed, his arms behind his head, smiling at her. "I don't know where to look. Why don't you help me find them? Once you do, I'll leave."
He clearly intended to stay as long as possible.
Daisy rolled her eyes and walked away without a word.
He was determined to freeload off her, thinking she couldn't do anything about it!
But Daisy wasn't about to let him win! She had to make him leave on his own!
Ethan prepared himself for an argument, but she simply walked away.
He turned over lazily, hugging a pillow and thinking of her soft body, and drifted back to sleep.
Fuming, Daisy plotted her revenge. She knew Ethan was a neat freak and had been very particular about cleanliness even with his amnesia, changing clothes daily.
Daisy decided to mess up the apartment.
She tossed dirty clothes around the sofa and floor, making the place look like a disaster zone.
The bathroom floor was covered in water and hair from her shower.
She only made breakfast for herself, leaving dirty dishes in the living room.
Before leaving, she surveyed the chaos, satisfied. Even without a neat freak, this mess was intolerable!
Ethan woke up and thought they had been robbed.
But after a quick inspection, he realized it was Daisy's doing.
Did she think a messy house would drive him away? What a naive girl.
He cleaned up the apartment, sat with Daisy's laptop, and was greeted by a password prompt.
Ethan lowered his head slightly, his fingers quickly tapping on the keyboard. The screen turned blue instantly, and lines of code flashed rapidly. In less than two minutes, the password was cracked.
Using her laptop, he searched for recent accidents on the coastal highway but found nothing.
He then searched for wedding-related news, remembering the bloody groom's suit he wore.
Reading about the shootout at the Roberts and Carter mafia families' wedding, he fell into deep thought.

Daisy's day was filled with glee, imagining Ethan's reaction to the mess. She was so excited she could barely contain her laughter.
She had intentionally left him no money to buy food, hoping he would get hungry and compromise.
For the first time since starting her job, Daisy wasn't in a hurry to get home. She had dinner and didn't return until after ten.
Expecting to find him faint from hunger, she was surprised to see him in the living room eating watermelon.
"Want a piece? It's really sweet," Ethan offered, holding up a slice.
She had forgotten there was still half a watermelon in the fridge. What a miscalculation!
The apartment was spotless.
Even without Ethan saying anything, Daisy knew her first plan had failed.
The next morning, at five sharp, Ethan was awakened by the loud buzzing of a vacuum cleaner. Groggily opening his eyes, he saw Daisy vacuuming around his bed.
"What are you doing?" Ethan, woken from sleep, was not pleased, his voice husky from the morning.
"I'm cleaning," Daisy said innocently. "Don't mind me. Go back to sleep."
The vacuum's noise was unbearable. He couldn't sleep at all!
Ethan irritably glanced at the clock, showing five, and ruffled his hair in frustration.
Daisy saw his annoyed expression and was overjoyed. She was determined to break him!
Ethan's morning grumpiness made him want to toss her and the vacuum out the window.
But seeing her giggling like a mischievous rabbit, he felt his anger inexplicably fade.
He smirked. "Good for you. Keep it up. Make it spotless!"
Daisy's smile froze. He was acting like the homeowner, ordering her around. She was so angry she nearly smashed the vacuum in his face!
