The black Bentley stopped outside the villa, and Reed, the butler, walked over to Eva, speaking respectfully, "Miss, there's a gentleman outside who claims to be your old friend. He's here specifically to see you."
Eva was slightly surprised. "An old friend? What's his name?"
"He didn't say, but judging by his demeanor, he doesn't seem like an ordinary person."
Reed had a keen eye for people. So, his comment about this visitor piqued Eva's curiosity.
Lily, who had been attentively looking after Eva, overheard Reed and said, "It's raining outside, Eva. You'd better stay inside since you're in poor health. Let Reed ask for his name again, and if he doesn't say, just send him away."
Reed ignored Lily's suggestion entirely, not even glancing at her.
