“Princess ..” Jason walked towards her. “You went grocery shopping?” the proud look on his face was evident. “Well if someone doesn’t want to feed me anymore I’m very well capable of doing it myself!” Mia said pouting showing her dissatisfaction while Cassy stood frozen next to her. She was seeing Jason Metcalfe in person! Right in front of her!!! “Princess it was just a slip up on my side. I’m sorry it won’t happen again. Come have breakfast with daddy. I booked a table at Michelin … who’s this young lady?” Jason asked noticing Cassy for the first time. “This is Cassandra Milton, my roommate.” Mia introduced her. “Cassandra this is my father 'Jason freaking Metcalfe’.” Mia said glaring at her. This little fool seemed so meek in front of Jason! Does she really like him?? Gross! Eeeewww! “Hehe .. nice to meet you sir.” Cassy felt like her heart would pop out of her chest. Her pupils were practically heart shaped! Yes she had a huge crush on Jason Metcalfe despite him being almost 2 decades older than her! She couldn’t believe she just shook hands with him! She’s never washing her hand ever !!!! Cassy was screaming in her head .. “Okay Alex will take care of this why don’t you girls change and we’ll head out for breakfast okay?” Jason said in his most gentlest voice. “Okay.” The girls went inside while Jason went to answer a call outside. After 30 minutes the three of them were seated in a fancy restaurant having breakfast. Cassy being the most uncomfortable of the three. “I’m really sorry about last night Princess, but there was an emergency at the office. I brought you a new Hermes bag ..” “I don’t need a new bag daddy!” Mia said looking aggrieved shoving the bag towards Cassy. “We’re coming over to have dinner at home tonight, you better be there or I’ll change my last name to Rodriguez!” The tension at the table was thick as syrup! Cassy couldn’t even join the conversation so she just ate in silence till Jason decided to drag her into the conversation. “So you’re Milton’s daughter?” He said his intense gaze fixed on her making her choke on her food. After a sip from her water glass Cassy replied. “Uhm .. yes sir.” She was fidgeting nervously. “Princess you finally made a friend. I’m so proud of you.” Jason said. “You should be rewarded for such an achievement!” “We’re just roomies not friends right Cassandra?” Mia asked looking at Cassy who’s face was a tint of red. “Ermm yeah. Yes. Just roomies.” She replied, cheeks tinted pink. For her this was the most awkward breakfast she had ever had. She wanted it to be over as soon as possible but still being in the company of Jason Metcalfe! Pheewww! Fortunately Jason got a call and had to rush off leaving her and Mia alone. Breathing a sigh of relief she finally relaxed. “Geez that was soooo uncomfortable!” She said eyeing Mia who chuckled lightly. “Ready for round two tonight at my house?” Mia asked with a mischievous smirk gracing her pink lips. “Bring it on princess!” Cassy replied in a teasing tone. “Hey stop calling me that!” Mia retorted sharply and Cassy laughed. After breakfast Mia took her shopping and they called Rosa to meet them at the mall. “What are we doing here?” Rosa asked as soon as she met up with them. “Shopping dummy what else? The princess is treating us to a few outfits.” Cassy gestured at Mia. “We’re having dinner at her house tonight. To witness how the rich dine!” Mia rolled her eyes and dragged the two to a shop so they can choose what they would wear. After four excruciating hours at the mall the girls were tired and hungry. Cassy was the first one to complain: “Amelia you’re such a slave driver! I’m dying of hunger!” “And I’m pretty tuckered out! My feet are killing me.” Rosa chimed in with her whining. “Fine we’ll eat then we’ll head back. The shop assistant will take our bags to the car let’s find a restaurant..” “Amelia freaking Metcalfe!” a loud shrieking voice sounded behind her. “What the hell?” Cassy turned around to see a beautiful girl dressed to the nines looking at Amelia with disgust. “I see you’ve finally grown up. You know how to hang up with other people. Finally gotten over your mother’s death? Or did you realise Matthew likes normal girls?” “Who’s this clown?” Rosa asked looking at Mia who’s face was dark as the bottom of a pot. “Oh I’m someone who knows Amelia better than anyone. She turned into a freak after her mother died treating others like trash! If I were you I’d stay away from her she’s not ashamed to steal her friends boyfriends just to play with them then toss them aside when she’s done.” Matilda Westin said her tone high pitched and sickening. “Still crying over Matthew? No wonder he never wanted you ..” Matilda lunged herself towards Mia but Cassy was quick and pulled her away. “Let go of me! Let me teach this stuck up b***h some manners!” Matilda struggled fiercely to free herself. “What’s going on here?” a male voice stopped the commotion. “Some mad dog is causing trouble! Please take her away Mr Security.” Rosa said pointing at Matilda who wriggled out of Cassy’s hold and stormed away. The three found a restaurant and settled in to eat feeling annoyed with Matilda. She had just ruined everyone’s mood with her stupid tactics. Though Cassy and Rosa had some questions but they also respected Mia’s privacy and thought she’d open up when the time came. It seems the ‘princess’ has been through a lot …
