I couldn't concentrate in class anymore. I couldn't even hear what the teacher said. My mind was blank. My brain felt empty.
During lunch, I didn't even know how I made it to the cafeteria. I sat by Mia and I'm sure I looked lost.
"What happened to you?" Mia asks. "You look like you just saw a ghost."
I slowly turned to her and met her stare. "What does it mean to be an honest mistake?" I ask her.
"Be an honest mistake?" She asks backs. "Well, a mistake done with no wrong intention."

"It's a mistake you make unknowingly. It's kind of pure." She adds.
