Murder romance mystery

I was walking down the street when I heard a few leafs and tree branch’s break behind me. I immediately turned around to look to see what it was but I couldn’t find anything. All this news about the new murders that are happening around this town I think every one is scared of every little noise that they hear. The news that was being spread was that there was a killer on the lose and would randomly chose their next victim from anywhere so we should be where of our surroundings. I started to continued to walk down the street but now I was a bit more cautious and scared of my surroundings. I kept looking around to see if there was anyone there. I knew I shouldn’t have walked home alone. I just didn’t want to be taken home by and Uber because I didn’t know where the killer was. I was walking home from my job as a news paper writer. That’s all I did so why would the killer want me. Oh yeah because I could find out who they are.

This was it now I am terrified. I scared myself out of my skin that when my best friend put their hand on my shoulder. I turned around quickly and punched them in the gut. “Owwwwww”

“Oh my god I am so sorry.”

“Did you have to gut punch me.”

“ I am so sorry I didn’t mean to I just I thought you were the killer so I was going to fight.”

What I didn’t know was something that would surprise me later.

“Ella did you have to gut punch me.”

“ I said I was sorry.”

“Yeah I know but it still hurts. Plus what were you thinking about if you thought I was the killer?”

“I was thinking about maybe the killer wants to kill someone like me because if I find out who they are I could expose them.”

“Well lets not think about that.”

“Thanks Jake I really needed that.”

“Ella lets get you home okay.”

“Okay. Wait why are you out here so late it is almost 1 in the morning.”

“Why are you out here Ella walking all alone?”

“I was walking home from a late night at work.”

“Well Ella I was coming to help a friend out and I just got done so I left their house if you really must know.”

“Oh I thought you could have been the killer because you were out here so late.”

Ella laughs and continue “but that is just a silly little theory because any one could be the killer here.”

Jake looks at Ella then looks back up and looks a little uncomfortable.

“Your right Ella anyone could be the killer. Even the people we hold the closest.”

They walked right up to Ellas door and she unlocks the door so then she could get in.

“Ok Ella I will see you later.”

“Ok bye.”

Ella went into her house and locked the door and went to bed. She woke up a little bit later at about 7 in the morning.

“Ugghhh.” Ella says as she wipes the sleep out of her eyes.

“ do I have to go to work now I just did a very late shift.”

Ella got up and got ready for work. She starts to walk out of her house when she quickly grabs her pocket knife just in case something happens. She puts it into her pocket and leaves her house.

She turns to lock her door and she hears.

“Hey Ella.”

“Hi Jake.”

They start to walk and Jake asks if they could hang out at Ellas house to night.

“Ella can we hang out at your house tonight after work.”

“Sorry Jake I have a date tonight after work.”

“Oh well who is this person you are going on a date with.”

“Oh I am going with tanner.”

“TANNER you’re going with tanner.”

“Yes Jake I am going with tanner why don’t you like him he Is very nice.”

“Oh never mind you have to get to work. I hope he makes you happy.”

“Oh go you big goof ball.”

They walked into work. After a long day at work Ella changed into her dress in the work bathroom. She walked outside to find tanner holding some flowers in one hand and I box of chocolates in the other.

“Hello Ella you look beautiful tonight.”

“Thank you tanner.”

They walked to a restaurant and they ordered.

“So tanner why did you want to take me out.”

“Oh well I just wanted to.”

That’s when you heard someone yell “ELLA HE WAS DARED TO DO IT.”

Ella looked at tanner

“I-is t-t-that t-true.”

“Ella I am sorry but yes I was dared to do it.”

Ella gets up and leaves the restaurant. Jake meets her at her house like she had asked.

“Hey ella how was the da. What happened.”

“He was dared to take me out on a date so he would win a couple of hundred dollars.”

“Oh now he is going to get it.”

“No please don’t go I need someone to cry to.”

“Okay fine.”

Ella soon after fell asleep on jake. He layed her down and left.

“I will avenge you Ella.”

Ella woke up the next morning and turned on the news and heared that tanner had been murder last night. Ella looked in shock was she the cause of his murder.

Chapter two the kidnapp

Ella went to work and did the normal things for work. She left during her lunch break and found jake.

“Hey did you have anything to do with tanners death.”

Jake paused and went silent.

“ you are aren’t you.”

“Ella I am so sorry for this.”

“W-wh”

Ella blacked out. She woke up in a basement and she was not chained she could have basically left if she wanted to right now.

“Hey you are finally awake.”

“Jake is that you.”

“Yes but now you have to stay with me.”

“Why?”

“Because now you know that I am the killer and I cant have anyone know that.”

“W-why so your not going to lock me up or kill me up. You are going to have me like I am still your friend.”

“Well as long as you promise to not try to run away then you can wander around the whole house and make anything you want.”

“What so your just going to trust me.”

“well yes you are still my friend.”

“And If I don’t listen and I do try to run away.”

“Well then I will have to kill you and any one you had interacted with after you left. Now stay and you will get anything you want. I already made it look like you are missing so your work wont try to call you.”

“Wait I still have my phone.”

“Yes ella you still have everything with you.”

“So let me get this straight if I stay here I get to keep everything I already have and I could get almost anything I want.”

“Yes.”

“Fine I will stay with you.”

“Okay great what would you like to eat since it is a little after lunch time.”

“Oh oh oh can I get a umm a lot of Dino chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese please.”

“Yes my princess.”

“Wait did you just say my princess.”

“Yes that is why I haven’t killed you I want you to be my queen but for now you are my princess.”

“Oh okay.”

“Come on Ella lets get you out of these dirty cloths and lets get you some lunch.”

“Okay Jake. I never knew you would be a killer you just always seemed to nice to be the killer.”

They start to walk up the stairs.

“Ella I wanted to protect you and that is why I started to kill them okay.”

“Oh so it was all because of me.”

They now got up the stairs.

“Ow that light is bright.”

“Just let yourself adjust then you will be fine.”

They walked down the hallway and jake lead ella to a room with a lot of cloths that where just her size.

“Did you get these all for me?”

“Yes after I found out your size I started to buy these for you I was going to give them to you before I left town if you didn’t find me but u guess now will work.”

“Oh this is so beautiful where did you get it from.”

“Wait how did you get all the money to buy all of this.”

“I have my ways ella I have my ways.”

Ella shut her mouth and started to look through the cloths and she heard jakes footsteps leaving the room. She grabbed a lose t shirt and some leggings. She changed into them and walked down the hall way to find jake in the kitchen making what ella had asked for.

“ I am changed.”

Jake turned around “oh well you look beautiful.”

Ella sat down at the table when they heard a door bell. Out of habit ella gets up to get it. To her surprise jake grabs her arm and tells her to either sit back down or cover her face. She covers her face and grabs the package from off of the ground.

“Oh look its for you.”

“Oh oh what about my mail.”

“You don’t have mail any more remember.”

“Oh yeah sorry this is all new to me. My friend kidn*pped me I find out he’s the killer and now I am missing and I no longer have anything that was mine before.”

“Oh we can buy it all back.”

“When.”

“After they say your dead since you don’t have a will In place your things will get sold and I can buy it then and get them for you.”

“Oh well that sounds easy.”

Jake puts a bowl of Mac and cheese and a plate of Dino chicken nuggets down on the table. Ella looks at it and jake laughs.

“Now it doesn’t have anything in it you’re safe.”

Ella took a chicken nugget and started to east i it. God she was really hungry. Because she was to busy stressing out she didn’t realize how hungry she was. Jake sat next to her and starts to talk about things like what they should change her last name to.

Chapter 3 plot twist

For about a month now jake would go to work and ella would stay home and was able to do anything she wants to. Now because jake was starting to trust her she was let out of the house every night when most people were asleep so then she wasn’t spotted.

“Ok Ella I am going out.”

“Where to.”

“You know where to.”

“Oh can I come.”

“What did you just ask.”

“I asked if I could come maybe I could help you at I could do it.”

“You help me kill or you kill fine but if you fail you wont be able out of the house anymore.”

“Okay.”

They were going through the streets and they found a bad man. Jake gave ella a knife and ella shakes her head and pulls out her own pocket knife.

“I forgot you have that Ella.”

Ella went over to the man and stabbed him in the head and covered his mouth so then no one could hear his very small scream. Ella dragged the mans body over to the corner.

“Well I didn’t know you would actually do it.”

“Well then we aren’t to different.”

Ella stabbed the man in the head again to make sure he was dead and she looked down at her b****y hoodie.

“Can I wash this when we get home.”

“Of course my love.”

Ella looked down at her favorite hoodie now covered in blood.

“Well I know how to get the blood out so I think I can do it.”

“Of course ella.”

The walked down the street and ella had put the hoodie on her waist so the blood would be on her pants.

“Hey hun I think you should change your hoodie and your pants I think you have a little bit of a problem.”

Ella acted surprised and looked down.

“Oh no I didn’t realize I bleed through that much.”

When in reality it was the blood from her very first victim. This she would remember for days to come after this. This was something she did and if someone found out she wouldn’t be put into and all girls school for misbehaved children again she would go to jail or maybe even prison. She thought of a brilliant idea for if she ever got caught. No she wasn’t going to tell on jake she was going to say that the all girls school had broke her and drove her insane. The only reason she started to kill all those people was because they reminded her of the all girls school for misbehaved children. That would be the lie if and that was a big if she ever got caught.

She was so caught up in her own thoughts she didn’t realize that they had already walked all the way home. Wow that was fast and she didn’t even check around her anymore because she knew she was safe. Jake had promised not to hurt her or kill her if she promised to stay with him so she did. It was an easy simple promise and she gets all these perks like getting anything she wants. It’s like shes a queen oh right she is a queen to jake so never mind. Jake poked ella.

“Hey are you still down to earth ella if not come back we are home.”

“Oh yeah sorry I was just deep in thought.”

“Ella what were you thinking about are you going to try to run away from me because if you are I am going to.”

“Oh stop Jake I am not thinking of running away at all. I was just thinking about how you give me everything but because I cant leave the house or use online shopping because then you would know I cant get you anything.”

They walked into the house and Jake grabbed the tablet that he always used to buy things for ella.

“Hey Jake are you even lis.”

“Oh calm down here you want to buy me something here you have an account now as long as you use my money unless I get you a new bank account.”

“Okay we can do that then I can surprise you with things.”

Jake looked at her and shook his head.

“Oh always thinking of others and not yourself how can this be possible we just came back from you killing someone and you already want to get me something. Unless its to kill me with in my sleep is that what its for.”

“Slow down I don’t want to hurt of kill you I want to get you a gift to say thank you for letting me out of the house and back yard.”

“Oh well your welcome. That’s all you had to say before I thought you were going to kill me.”

Ella taps the screen again and finds the perfect gift it was a vintage book and she knows that Jake loves to read especially things that are vintage. She’d hit ship to 1020 Lincoln ave. She hit the screen and it said it would be there in three days time.

Chapter 4 falling in love with a killer

I look up and see him looking at me.

“Okay it is time for us to get some sleep.”

“Okay lets go.”

They walked to the bedroom that they shared and Ella changed into her night appeal. She put on a very lose shirt and some pajama pants. She got into the bed and covered up and felt Jakes body tip the bed to his side of the bed before it leveled out again. She heard him breathing until he fell asleep with his arm around her. That entire night she was tossing and turning because she couldn’t stop thinking about one thing. Did she love Jake or was being stuck in his house really getting to her now. She moved a little and felt Jakes grip tighten on her to make sure she didn’t leave. This was normal and so she whispered in to his ear I have to get a drink of water. He lifted his arm a little bit to let her go. So started to pace around the house thinking. Does she really love a murder and did she really murder someone earlier too. Was she going crazy did she really love Jake or was this just a dream.

Wait if it’s a dream then it wouldn’t feel so real. But maybe It is so real that she thinks it’s a dream. She went back to the bed room and laid back into the bed. She tossed and turned all night. When Jake got up in the morning he saw that she had already had gotten out of bed. He heard the shower going so he thought that she was taking a shower but he had to check. He walked into the bathroom and heard her singing in the shower. Her voice was beautiful this made him remember that she had always wanted to be a singer when she got older.

“Hey Ella is that you?”

“Uh yeah its me I was just taking a shower because I just needed some time to think about something.”

“Oh what are you thinking about that you are taking a shower at 5 in the morning.”

“Oh just things that’s all.”

“Okay.”

“Hey why are you in here I thought you have to get ready for work.”

“I do but I would normally take a shower in the morning like you are now. I hope you didn’t take all the hot water.”

“I didn’t I have only been in the shower in hot water for about two song so that’s about seven to eight minutes?"

Jake shook his head and left the bathroom. He started to get changed into a t-shirt and some blue jeans. Jake hears the water shut off and he knows that ella is done taking a shower. After about two minutes Jake sees Ella walk out of the bathroom with wet hair that was silky soft. Since it was wet it came to the middle of her back. He looked at her as she went to lay back down on the bed. She sighed as she looked up at the ceiling.

“ hey what’s wrong and tell me this time and don’t say something is wrong.”

“Ugh I just I think I like someone but I don’t know how to tell them.”

“You like someone.”

“Yes I do.”

“Is it me that you like.”

Ella got up off of the bed and looked at Jake and said.

“What do you want for breakfast. You want an omelet again or do you want something different.”

“I would like you to tell me who you like.”

“You know what I should have never told you anything!”

Now Ella was starting to get annoyed. She really shouldn’t have told him anything. Jake grabbed a knife and put it to Ellas through and yells.

“ tell me who the f**k you like.”

“NO!”

Jake realized what he was doing so he moved back away from her neck and he put the knife on to the table and walked away running his fingers through his hair.

Ella smiled to herself because she knew that she was the craziest out of those two. I mean she thought about when she killed animals because she wanted to. To think Jake thinks he is the crazier one out of them. She was the real crazy one and she had murder things and that’s the reason she had to go to the all girls school. She started to make an omelet for Jake. Jake walks back into the kitchen after about five minutes and Ella put the food on the table.

“Eat.”

“Why.”

“Because you need to.”

Jake huffed and started to eat the omelet. Jake left for his job and Ella walked back to the bedroom and went to lay down. After about an hour she fell asleep. She woke up and saw this

Standing over her side of the bed. She thought it was nothing so she turned away. Her curiosity got the better of her so she turned back over and she saw it was gone so now it was just her in the room. Oh well that’s not un common. She fell back to sleep before she woke up at 10 in the morning. Yep she had slept for about three hours. Ella gets up and hears her phone ringing. She looks down to see it says mom. What I thought everyone thought I was dead. Even her mom should have thought she was dead by now. Then a text came across the screen. The message read ‘ Hun I know you are inside Jakes house I can see you through the window. Please come outside I want you to come home.’ Ella looked out the window to see someone was there and she immediately called Jake and ran into the basement where they hade all of her former things.

“Hey what’s up.” Jakes says all calmly.

“Jake I think my mother found me she texted me and called me and the text says she can see me and so I ran into the basement. Oh no.”

“What is it.”

“I just heard someone knock at the door.”

“Okay stay calm.”

“Oh yeah very easy for you to say your not the one who has to worry about being found out and If I leave then you said you would kill me.”

“Okay fine I won’t kill you if you have to run away from the house but only if you tell me where you are going.”

“Fine but only if I have to leave I don’t want to leave.”

“Okay.”

The knocking on the door stopped and so Ella walked up the stairs to the door and looked out the window. Now there was no one there.

“Jake no one is there.”

“Okay good.”

They hung up the phone. Ella opened the door and let the person in. The person ran into the house because they had been trying to break down the door.

Ella grabbed the kitchen knife that was left on the table and grabbed the person by the collar of their shirt.

“Why are you here.”

“I am here to save you Ella my sweet.”

“No.”

“No but why Ella you are my daughter. I am your mother and I want you to come home.”

“No you sent me away to an all girls school and told everyone I was on visiting family with my father so then no one would question. It is also not my fault that dad left you for someone else so then you killed him. Huh maybe I get my killer side from you.”

“Uh no your father is a killer that got caught I never killed him.”

“Then why are you here.”

“Because your father is on the lose and he is coming for both of us and he thinks your still alive and so he is checking every where.”

That’s when they heard someone break into the house and yell.

“Ella I know you are here my daughter.”

Ella got her mom up with the knife to her throat and she put her mother and her into the basement.

“Ella why did you bring me down here.” Her mother whispered to her.

“Because I don’t need you to leave when he came in so then I don’t have to worry about you telling anyone that I am alive.”

“What so am I now like your prisoner.”

“Well we have to wait until he gets home.”

“Who is he.”

“Oh you know him.”

They heard the basement door open and ella got up from where her mother and her were crouching at. She looked at the very tall muscular man standing at the top of the stairs. Yep that was her father. Ella ran up the stairs and hugged him. She was let go and she went behind him and pushed him down the stairs. She walked down the stairs in her tank top and shorts. She walked over to her father on the ground.

“E-ella why would you do this.”

“Why did you leave me when I needed you.”

Ella put the knife up to his throat and slit his throat. Her mother gasped to see her daughter was a killer. Ella immediately ran up the stairs and shut and locked the door behind her. This was to make sure her mother couldn’t leave the basement. She heard her mom screaming for her to let her out. Ellas mom was banging on the basement door and Ella was just walking around the house. Ella really was a killer and she didn’t feel bad about it.

Wow it was already 5:30 at night. Jake should be getting off of work by now. He will get to see the surprise she made him. She had cooked him some lasagna so then she could tell him who was in the basement waiting for him to see. Jacks car pulls into the driveway and ella smiles. Jake was going to be so proud of her.

Jake came into the house and heard someone scream from the basement.

“Who is that?” Jake points to the basement.

“Oh just a little surprise.” Ella stirs the red sauce that she was making.

“Okay but who is it.”

“Oh just someone they tried to hurt me. So to make it fair I killed who they loved most and left the dead body in there with them.”

“Okay I am starting to think you are psycho. At first I thought you were joking about the murder but now you just killed them because you could.
