chapter ten

New dream

I was walking around with my family and we were just walking around. When I turned around for one minute I had ended up in a maze. I wasn’t in a corn maze but it was all metal. The maze itself was made from metal and the ground. How was this possible. I started to walk through the maze. Why was I barefoot I just had my shoes on when I was walking with my family. I started to try to climb the metal but with every step on the metal it would cut through my skin. The blood dripping from my hands and feet. I kept going but when I got to the top it was just the same thing over and over and over again.

New dream

I walked around and I found a little tree branch. I was pulling the branch up out of the ground and it just kept growing and growing the more I pulled it out of the ground. I set it down because now I was tired of pulling the tree branch. When I started to walk away I felt something on my leg. It was the tree branch it was rapping itself around my leg. It pulled me down and I was being pulled into the ground. I went into the ground and I astro projected from my physical body. I saw my body being dragged into the ground as the ground patched itself up. And that little tree branch came to take another victim later on.

New dream

I was walking in a hotel with my parents and little sister. I saw my choir teacher there and she was standing At my hotel door. She told me that she just thought that this was my room and that her room was right next door. My mom didn’t have any problems so we were all walking up the stairs together. I was sent to unlock the door and that is how I found my choir teacher. The next thing I know is that my dad is going to get together with my choir teacher who hates me. I mean my dad hates me to so that kind of makes sense.

"Hi my name is sky and I have been living with the avengers for a few years.see the avengers found me when they went on a mission to one of the hydra bases. I was locked in a cell like the one that the winter soilder had. I was there when the avengers found me."

nat walked into skys room.

"hey sky whatcha doing."

"oh um I was just um you know what I was doing nothing so what's up nat?"

"oh nothing just they stark wants to have a meeting I mean I dont know qht about but he said it's very important and that you have to be there."

"okay sid he say i." I was cut off Tony stark running up to my room

"hey why havent you come downstairs yet I need everyone right now and I have some news for you sky."

I scoff because what could be so important i jokingly said.

"what did you find something new about me like I have super powers or something."

tony looked at me and said "well something like that."

I stopped to look at him nat was just standing there looking dumbfounded.

"stark tou know I was joking right."

stark looked at me and said "well maybe you were joking but I am not joking I am dead serious about this."

I walked overto him since he was standing in the doorway of my room.

" you mean to say that I might have powers."

stark looked at the ground before saying.

"I mean that is what I am thinking and if you come downstairs like everyone else then you will see why me and banner think you might have some sort of power."

you stark and nat walk downstairs Bruce was trying to get everyone to stay seated because none knew what was going on so they were all talking or people like bucky were just trying to get out of there. us three walked into the living room and me and nat sat down on the couch next to each other. stark walked up in front of everyone.

"hey friday can you show the most recent analysis please."

tou hear the AI awnser "on it boss I have found all of the files for you."

Tony stood there as the files started to appear in front of him and everyone else.

"stark what are we doing here you know maybe we have to do something."

I awnser lokis awnser with "tou dont have to go anywhere because you dont have plans so you can stay like everyone else."

everyone just looked at me.

loki spoke up "um how do you know that I didnt tell anyone that I wasn't doing anything and the only reason Wanda found out is because she read my mind but she didn't tell anyone else."

tou just look at him then look away and say.

"well I just kind of knew it's like I had a feeling toj were lying and I guess I was right."

stark looked at you and said.

"okay the reason we are all here is because I believe that sky has some sort of power. now before you come at me with anything me and banner were in the lab last night and we were watching the videos from us fighting and k saw that everytime that sky got shot at none of the bullets hit her. this made me think about how almost every time she is about to get hurt she doeant get hurt. I mean remember the one time that loki threw a dagger at her she walking out to the living room from the kitchen but then she walked backwards a little so the the dagger didnt hit her. the weird thing is that sky was nose deep into a book. so how did she know that the dagger was coming towards her."

"stark you know it could have been a strange conscience."

"yes sky that's exactly what I thought had happened until I thought about all of the times that strange things like this kept happening. every time that you were about to get hurt you didnt get hurt it's like you can sence things are there."

I cut stark off and looked at wanda."wanda stop trying to read me mind it's not going to work if you couldn't get into my head the first time we met then you surely can get into my head now okay so please stop trying to are only going to hurt yourself by putting ro much stress on your mind and body okay ." wanda nodded and stopped trying to read your mind. tou run tour temples because when you felt wanda try to enter your head it always gives you a headache after wanda toys that.

wanda spoke up to say.

"hey um sky how did you know that I was trying to get into your head because no one else can feel it I have tried it on others in this roo. I have even tried it on the super soildersandthe gods so how did you know but no one else know."

I back away from the group as wanda and nat get up to try and follow me. I got so scared that I started to run to the opposite side of the room so then I could run up to my room when I some how teleported to the place I wanted to go. I stopped and jumped out of pure excitement I say."that was awsome just teleported fro. one side of the room to the other awsome oh s**t those two are still following me."I started to run again but this time I just ran up to my room. I was running up the stairs when loki teleported in front on me half way through my way to get to my room.

"well where so you think you're going my little pet."

I try to push past him as I say.

"well I'm trying to get to my room.

that's when loki grabbed me. Loki grabs my arm and drags me back down to the living room where everyone else was. I was fighting him in his grip but he just wouldn't let me go. i tried to teleport out of his arms but when it sisnt work i wondered why.

"ahh my sweet sweet pet i can teleport too so when i am holding you that means you cant do anywhere that's why you cant leave and before you ask how i knew this its because I have been reading your mind."

I opened my mouth but then thought if loki is reading my thoughts then he could probably just talk to me in my head.

'hey loki can you hear my thoughts.'

'um yes pet wht do you ask.'

'oh no reason no reason at all.'

I looked down and then we started to see everyone looking at the stair case. boy was I in trouble now. I cant be in trouble I just need to find a way to get out of here god can loki just let me go already.

'no pet won't let go of you until we get down to the living room.'

'zetis lepidas I was so lost in thought I forgot that you are still in my head.'

I heard loki let out a small chuckle. tou know for him being the fod of mischief he really has a good side to him. we walk into the living room and he let's go of my wrists as everyone starts to come up to me and starts to ask a lot of questions. I could hear a few words through a of the yelling and chatting tha thg was happening in front of me. I heard someone say my name but when I tried to find out who said my name I couldn't find them. it was really weird. tony pushed through everyone and asked.

"okay so now that you have tried out your powers how do you feel like do you feel sick or happy or youknow what I mean. so you feel when you use your powers things like that."

I looked at him and said.

"well stark I feel when I moved through space when I I teleported but that was about it. also when I am fighting I dont even realize that I ma using any power so I mean there is that."

stark looked at wanda like if he wanted to know an awnser to a question that he asked no one. wanda looked at him confused then realized what he was asking. wanda looked at me.

"hey sky can I look in your head when you do things like teleport through space please."

I rolled my eyes and said fine but that was all I said. I could feel wanda trying to get into my head. how could loki get into my head so easily but wanda couldn't even try to push past tree the first barrier in my head. I tried to relax so then it would be easier for wanda to get into my head. all I could think was have pa im fully this was and why wasn't it over yet. when wanda comes into my head it causes a little but of pain and when shes just kn my head I know shes there but i barely remember shes there. thw most painful part is when she leaves. weird I know I have been trying to figure that out.

"okay I am in your head sky."

I said

"yeah I know wanda I can feel your in my head so yeah I know."

wanda nodded. tony asked

"hey sky can you teleport andthwnwanda just tells us what you and her feel see and hear. then when you are protecting yourself I would like to know the answer to that one. okay."

I said okay and so did wanda. was I ready to try to use powers that I barely knew about in front of everyone. I tried to calm down and think about how it felt to teleport up to the stairs to feel the cool wind in my hair as I moved through space. now I broke a deep breath and I thought of where I wanted to go. I went to the kitchen because why not. I heard wanda lightly talking to the other avengers as I was grabbing a banana from the counter. I teleporrwd back to the living room so then I could see what they thought. did wanda tell them rumors about me and my powers so then everyone in shield would want to experiment on me with things I really didnt want that nor did I need that. I felt wanda grab my arm and whispered in me ear.

"they I sidnr tell anything false about what had happened. I told then that you felt free and that you got hungry from all of the traveling around so thays all that they know."

"okay I can work with that thays good. okah I am okay with that. I saw stark walk off to the lab. he walked out with some test tubes and an iv and a needle. oh no was he going to draw blood from me because god I hate needles so I hope not.

"sky so I know you dont like needles but can I please take some blood please . you so then I can take a look to see if you have any mutations in your blood."

I look at him then I roll up my sleeves and I let stark take some of my blood. he time it off to his lab and by the time that ban er came back to put a bandage on the blood draw mark it was already gone. how was tree his possible i mean maybe i have super human healing. I rolled my sleeves back down my arms and I go and plop down onto the couch with my arms crossed over my chest. banner looked at me weirdly when I rolled my sleeve down.

"what it already healed all up."

"okay but can I see your arm so then I know your not lying."

"uggggg fine."

I roll up my sleeve and there was no mark. that's when I thought about something I ran up my stairs to my room.

"where do you think your going pet."

loki stood in my way again.

"I just thought of something and it's in my room so please move."

"oh and what are you getting from your room because I can just go get it for you."

"No I mean no please dont do that its personal and I dont need you breaking it."

"oh i dont think thays the reason my little pet."

you push past loki because this time he actually moved for me. huh what is he planning to do. anyways I just kept walking up to my room. that's when I heard loki in my head. then he left what just happened. I was confused but that's okay I opened my door to see the one and only loki laufeyson. of course he had come to my room but why was he sitting on my bed.

"loki cna you please leave please."

"why is it so important that I leave."

"because it just is okay."

loki rises from my bed and walks over to me.

"huh what is it."

"none of your business."

I walked away from him and pulled something out of my closet. it was a box and I had a beautiful necklace that was made of pure silver and diamonds. I always wondered why my mother had gotten me this when I was very young. but I do remember her telling me to only open in if you truly let yourself shine. I always thought it meant if I was successful but maybe ita because of my magic. I opened the lid of the box and put the necklace on me. loki was still standing at my door.

when I put the necklace on I felt different I felt like the magic within me wanted to come out but I controlled all of it. was that was this is for. me and loki walk back down the stairs and nat sees us.

"oh my god I was wondering if you were ever coming back I almost thought that you and."

"okay nat we get it but no I was getting this necklace."

sharon came out of the kitchen and said.

"uggg and who would ever buy you something and expensive as that."

"my mother see when I was a little girl my mother went to get me this necklace. I have only wore it once because when I wear this I feel like I have control of all of my powers and abilities."

"that's great sky." I heard wanda say. I just thought why is loki still standing right next to me. meh it's fine maybe he wants my powers.

loki started to following me where ever I went. he followed me non stop.

"okay I think I have got this and I know this is going to sound crazy but someone needs to shoot at me."

that's when I heard everyone all go silent.

"come on guys someone has got to so it and if I do it then it would be to close for me to react. please."

wanda piped up.

"hey what about this someone will shoot at you and i will stop th bullets from hurting you."

"wanda I want to do this so then I can find out what I can do. plus if the bullets get to close to me and I cant stop them then you can step in and stop them okay."

wanda looked down then back up.

"ugggg fine but only if I can make sure your stagehand you not just going to push all if our help away."

"wanda you know I wont do that okay."

"okay fine."

wanda stood next to me so then she was ready for anything. sharon picked up the loaded g*n. for some reason sharon has never liked me. I dont know why that is maybe because sometimes me and Steve flirt but only so then I can help him get rid of people he doesnt want around him. like at parties. sharon fired the loaded g*n and I basically saw the bullets come out of the fun in slow motion. was this what quick silver felt like watching things like this. as I saw the bullets come towards me I closed my eyes and focused on somethings in me that needed awakened. I felt something come over me. everyone gasped. I thought maybe wanda had been shot but when I opened my eyes I had stopped the bullets right in front of me. they had just stopped mid air. when none of us were looking sharon fired another round of bullets at me and wanda. I pushed wanda to the side eight as the bullets hit me. the strange thing was that the bullets didnt hurt me. the weird thing was that the bullets has gone right through me . it was like I was transparent. huh how strange. I looked at everyones scared faces.

"come on guys it wasn't that scary stop looking like you just died for a hot second."

Tony stood up and walked over to me while saying.

"sky I am pretty sure that we all just had a small heart attack because of you so yes we can look this scared."

he looked at me as if he was trying to see if he could look through me.

"how did you even do that. I mean the bullets just went right through you but you didnt even think about it. huh I wonder If someone threw a knife at you that it would go right through you or is it just bullets." Tony started to walk away when loki got up and said.

"only one true way to find out."

loki throws a dagger at me and I catch it in between my hands by the blade. loki looked at me before sitting down. now I was tired so I sat down. no wonder I was tired not only was I using magic but it was also 2 in the morning and i didnt sleep well the night before.

new story

"Elizabeth it's time to get up to go meet the madrigals." i hear my mother yelling to me. "uhhhh why." I wipe the sleep from my eyes. I get changed and walked down stairs. my mother looked at me in disappoint at my t-shirt and blue Jean's.

"Elizabeth you cant wear that."

"why not mother it's not like we are doing any thing important today."

my father cleared his throat.

"well me and the abuela of the madrigals thought that maybe you and camilo could get to know one another."

"so you both want basically an arranged dating and marriage for me and him. ARE YOU INSANE."

"listen here little girl it has already been planned out so fo get changed into something nicer."

I walked up the stairs to get to my room. I thought to myself why I mean it's not like I like him and he probably doesn't even know I exist so why did my mother have to do this. I got changed into one of the few dresses I have. I walked downstairs and there was my mother ready to grab me and drag me out the door to the madrigals casa.

"mom please j dont want."

my mother grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the door.

"hunny it's not about weather you want to or not you will like him and if you dont then he can change into who you want."

we walked all the way to the house so see the abuela opening the door. me and my mother walked into the house. the floors moved and my mom and I almost fell. see I say almost because luisa caught my mother and camillo caught me from falling. I stood up and he moved the hair from in front of my face so then I could see him.

"holla Elizabeth how are you."

"holla wait how do you know who I am and we have never met at least I dont think we have met."

camillo smiled at me and i felt myself slightly blushing at his smile.

"so come on Elizabeth I will show you through the house."

he grabbed my arm and that's when I regret listening to my mom about wearing heels. we ran up the stairs and into his room. it was disorganized like a normal teenage boys.

"so um camillo how old are you and what interest you." I asked him. he stopped dead in his tracks and turned around. when he did this I thought I might of said something wrong.

"I am 15 and I honestly dont know what interest me because I have." we both say.

"to be pulled into so many different directions at once." we both stop and look at one another. I stopped and it felt like time itself had stopped. I started into his eyes I could stare into those eyes forever. we hear a knock that brings us back to reality ti realize we are both holding hands. so much for not liking him.

"um Elizabeth can I come in." ofcourse it was my mother. I smack my forehead and look at camillo. he nods his head and I walk over to the door and open it.

"oh Elizabeth why are you two in here alone maybe you should come out into the main room."

"mom we weren't doing anything we were just talking about things."

"oh um well I have to leave so just dont do anything."

"okay mom I got it."

my mom toke me into a hug even though I hate being touched. when she was done huffing me she walked away and out of the house. when she did I shut the door and walked over to the wall. I slid down the wall and into the floor. I toke my heels off as camillo walks over to me.

"hey are you okay Elizabeth."

"yep just fine." I say through gritted teeth.

"sorry camillo its because everyone is forcing re his on me and I cant talk to anyone because they all think it would be so great to be in my shoes where I am supposed to be with you and it's all to much. so I am sorry if I get mad I promise I am not mad at you."

camillo rubbed my shoulder as I tensed up as he touched me.

"oh yeah sorry you dont like physical touch."

he moves his hand and I curl up and lay my head on his shoulder. he moves his arm to go around me and so I scoot in and I am just there cuddling with the person I told my self I didnt like. camillo starts to move my hair around.

"hey Elizabeth what does it feel like to not have a gift like my family."

"oh I dont really know because I am kind of the outcast of everything until now when the whole town heard about all of this."

"okay then awnser this question for me."

"sure what's up camillo."

"how old are you."

"he im also 15 so yeah."

we both just stay there and just st there talking about random things like our life. what was different about our lifes and what was the same in our lives. we talked for hours that we lost track of time itself. we hear another knock at camillos door. we both get up and walk over to the door. camillo opens the door and qr both look tired. my mother was standing at the door with her arms crossed over her chest. oh no I am in major trouble what did I do now.

"hi mom."

"hi daughter."

yep I'm in trouble the only time she uses the word daughter in a mean tone is when I am in trouble. I get out of camillos roo. ti see his parents coming towards us as well. now we are both in trouble. I didnt realize it but me and camillo started to hold one anothers hands when both of our parents came.
