Dad told me he was going on his daily stroll to keep healthy I liked that he was so worried about his health unlike my grumpy dad who only complains I let him then sit to watch the TV while working on some projects I wasn't back in Europe but I was still very much involved with the company. I then got a phone call which I picked and was told to rush to the hospital that dad collapsed. I through every thing and rushed like a mad woman to the hospital in chaos.

When I got there the doctor requested for his family member alone that i had to call Liam I couldn't lie because this company was his and they know I'm not a family member. As much as I hated it I called Liam's official number but a lady picked it and said he wasn't in the office. I had to search through dad's phone to find Liam's personal phone number I decided to text him with my phone cause he won't take his calls no matter how many times the man called him after he chased him off and the man didn't give up he kept calling even if he won't pick I wondered what happened between those two. I texted him and got no reply I was restless he was attended to but i can't rest I needed to know what's wrong with him. After few hours I picked my phone to give Liam a piece of my mind about to click send to the long message I had typed he appeared walking to the hospital with elegance making all heads turn I rushed to meet him.

“The doctor needs to see you before telling me what's wrong let's go!” I held his arm moving him to the doctors office.

I stood outside waiting impatiently. The doctor sent me out that he needed to talk with only Liam I could only wait for him to tell me when they are done. After what seemed like forever he showed up looking at me like a ghost

“What's wrong with him?”

I asked immediately.

“He's got a heart disease”

“For how long?!“

“The doctor said 10Yrs”

I immediately found my hands on his check with a loud sound!

“you bastard!…he…he was with you all your….miserable life but you didn't know he was sick and needed treatment!”.

“How dare you?!”

If I wasn't so angry right now I would have cowed in fear to his ice tone I got to the waiting room chair to sit. A lot of emotions was flowing through me right now I couldn't help but cry his too old for that he doesn't deserve it! Much more such a son! He turned around to walk away

”don't you dare…..!”

“Who the hell are you to stop me woman?!”

“You don't want to find out sit your ass let's look for a solution!”

“do that your self annoying witch!”

“you are shameless!”

“He's 10Yrs gone you can't help him! If he wanted to survive he would have looked for a solution long ago its the old man's wish I won't sit here and deceive myself with you! If you need me I'm in the hotel”

I watched him leave me with no care in the world a nurse then tapped me I turned to her

“His awake”

“Thank you nurse”

I've told her earlier to tell me when he wakes up I walked to this room he saw me and smiled I picked up his hand and cried my eyes out!

“Common now you don't have to cry this old man is ripe already”

“I…I'm sorry I …..couldn't bring you two together”

I weeped so much on him

“A lot was left on said to Liam I wanted to protect him from his mother he will never understand cause he has chosen to hate me for saving him from her”

“We'll get a donor”

“I've been searching for one for 10yrs now a new heart is no child's play my darling”

“You….you …can't die on me”

I brust into tears again I couldn't accept it.

“I'm ripe for death kyla and I'm not afriad I've been preparing for this for 10years now my daughter”

I couldn't stop crying it was too painful to be true.

I got to Italy as fast as I could I was so excited to meet her again while my assistant headed to the hotel with my stuffs I drove to the hospital I didn't know what to expect but I was hopeful when I entered I saw her at the waiting room angrily typing I wondered why she was that upset she looked cuter than. the last time I saw her with smile not too visible I walked to her. She saw me coming I and stopped typing she then rushed to me

“the doctor needs to see you before telling me what's wrong let's go”

She then held my hand moving me to the doctors office. I was surprised she cared for the old man to that point well we got in and the doctor chased her out to talk to me

“Sir the chairman is very ill and he has been hiding this from you for the past 10Yrs but right now its a prime matter we need a donor or his going to die in matter of days”

“What do you mean by a donor?”

“He has been battling with heart failure for 10years now”

A feeling of guilt immediately took over me I've hatred for that man but he has never hurt me intentionally before.

“What can be done?”

“We've been looking for a donor for tho 10years but nothing”

I just stood up and walked out I felt too heavy to carry my emotions. I needed a drink or something to calm down this means he might actually die I didn't what that for him I had to see if I could find a solution to this problem.
