Elena’s eyes fluttered open lazily. She still felt dazed and her body was quite sour too. She turned to the side of the bed noticing it was empty.
Where was Sebastian? She wondered.
Elena got out of bed, tying a robe around her body as she went to check for him in the bathroom but found it empty. She was suspicious as to why she had woken up alone.
If Sebastian had wanted to leave, he would’ve at least dropped a note. Unless, he didn’t want her knowing about his whereabouts.
This theory seemed to make more sense to Elena as she recalled she had slept immediately after eating the meal he prepared for her.
