Sebastian hissed as Elena treated his wounds. He had asked her to let the doctor take care of it but she had refused. He was happy she was so willing to take care of him and at the same time upset with her.
“What was the need to fight with him? You could’ve ended everything with a bullet in his head.” Elena chastised Sebastian.
“What was the need to go there without informing me?.” Sebastian retorted.
Elena’s face fell at the accusation because he was right. If she had told him, 70% of the thing that had happened could’ve been avoided. At least, they would’ve handled the situation better.
She was immensely thankful for Dave who had found a way to rescue her and Sebastian.
But the most important thing was Dimitri’s death. Elena had seen it coming when Sebastian had accepted the duel.
