Chapter Seven

Let's Mate?

It's only a couple days before the blood test, and I'm still not officially the Luna of this pack, making me worry, I can't leave Kyle, my friends, my pack, the pack I grew up in.

I'm standing in the mirror looking at my reflection. Then Kyle comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist and kissing my forehead.

Reading my thoughts Kyle smirks then kisses my neck, then my mark causing me to suck in a sharp intake of breath. I turn around a kiss him hard, and my wolf is clawing at the surface to be let in control.

I try so hard to fight her back, as she screams in my mind, fighting against me instead of going with me.

Kyle lift me up onto his waist and I wrap my legs around him and he carries me to the bed.

I wake up a smile largely at Kyle. Last night we mated and a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders.

Kyle looks at me and smiles then brings my body to his and holds me to him. And he inhales my scent.

"Morning beautiful" He says softly, looking into my eyes.

I smile and kiss him softly, and burry my head in his chest shyly. "How do you feel?" He whispers.

I look up at him "Great" I smile.

Ever since we mated, a bond was created between Kyle and I, that made us stronger than ever, and created the Luna link, were I can hear every pack members thought, as long as I let my wall down, and it give me and my wolf much stronger powers and makes us bigger in wolf form.

Kyle and I get out of bed and get dressed. I put on jeans and a long sleeve shirt, because the weather has been colder lately.

We walk into the kitchen and instantly I stumble backwards. The thoughts in the room bombard my mind.

"They mated"

"Now she's our Luna"

"Way to go Kyle!"

"Damn. I was hoping to get her before him"

"Slut"

My eyes water and I put my wall up, pushing all the thoughts out of my mind, leaving my mind seeming empty.

Kyle must of heard a couple because he growls and instantly all the chatter in the room stops.

"Hello Alpha, Luna" A young girl named Lilly says smiling gently. Lilly is a very pretty girl. Only 12, but she has gorgeous green eyes and black hair.

Jen runs up to me and hugs me "Yay!" She squeals in my hair, making me giggle at her "You did it" she then whispers before skipping away to sit next to Lilly.

I never knew how good I would feel from finding my mate, and mating with him. Some may say I did it just so I couldn't be taken away, but I really did it because I love Kyle with all my heart, and I'm so glad that he's my mate, he has shown me more happiness in the past couple months, than I've ever experienced in my entire life, in my hell house hold.

"Beth?" I finally hear and I look up at Kyle "Want something for breakfast?"

I smile and nod.

I sit at the bar and wait for breakfast to be made, and I just play on my phone. Then a plate it sat in front of me, with waffles, strawberries and cool whip on top. My favorite.

I smile eagerly, and Kyle laughs. "Someone's hungry"

I laugh and eat my food, while Kyle makes coffee for himself.

We were just sitting in silence, when the pack doctor, Emma walks into the kitchen. "Hello Alpha, Luna" she greets nicely.

I nod my head and Jake smiles warmly at her. "Are you guys ready for the blood test tomorrow? I already have blood from Beth's parents, which I got yesterday, and I got it from the other Alpha. Just need your sweetie" Emma says kindly

I nod my head wearily, and slightly smile. I've always hated needles. Well actually anything sharp, since my father began the abuse. "Don't worry. It won't hurt. Just a tiny pinch, that's all" Emma then reassures me, as if reading my mind.

I sigh, knowing that I have no way out of this, and that I'm going to have to get it over with. After all, it's not like I can go anywhere anyways...
