Lila's POV The sun was low in the sky, coloring the forest in soft shades of orange and pink. Aria played near the edge of the camp, her tiny feet dancing over the rocks. She clutched Woof in one hand, her laughs filling the air. “Woof jump!” she cried, throwing the toy into the air and catching it. I sat by the fire, watching her with a soft smile.
