Jess and James decided not to tell anyone in the family about the incident. They knew it wouldn't be easy for anyone to tolerate the news.
The morning started on the usual note with John and James trying to wake up Jess. Jess made sure to cover bruises in long sleeved turtle neck top to avoid being questioned.
"Are you fine Princess?" James asks worriedly, pulling Jess to the corner.
"I'm totally fine. Just let it go like it's a nightmare" Jess says reassuring.
Both headed to the dinning table to take their breakfast. As everyone sat down and started munching on their food John asks, "Jess how did the party go yesterday?"
Jess chokes on her food by the sudden question. James hands her a glass of water and start patting her back.
