Ryan was getting discharged 2 days before the doctor had anticipated. Jess too had started understand that there is no way she can change someone's choices or action. Since she can't change she can't hold herself responsible as well. The credit of this changes in her goes to her friends.
They kept reminding her everyday how special she is to them and how much they love her. Jess's heart was filled with gratitude for having them in her life. She was feeling blessed to have friends who have always supported her and never let her upset over anything.
"Mom, I'm going to the hospital. Ryan's getting discharged today" Jess shouts wearing her shoes hurriedly.
"First have your lunch" Daisy shouts back from the kitchen.
"I'm getting late. I'll have it with them" Jess says and runs to the car.
