"What the f**k? How dare they cancel the meeting now" yelled a man bubbling with anger at his assistant. The man looked like the Satan himself from the hell decked up in 3-peice grey suit. "Actually Mr. Parks, Mr. William's wife injured her hand. He just wanted to be with her to make sure she's alright, that's the reason he cancelled the meeting and was really very sorry about it." his assistant replied a little terrified about his boss's temper. "Do hell with his sorry. What a hopeless man, he cancelled the meeting for such a stupid reason. Like seriously some bloody b***h is more important to him than this meeting. Everyone knows that Ethan Parks hates men who gives more importance to women than buisness. If not for this 50 million dollar deal I would have cancelled this deal right now." Ethan screamt totally annoyed by the cancelled meeting. "Ok forget it. I can't waste my time pondering about a hopeless man. Ivan which is the next meeting scheduled today? And at what time?" Ethan asked after few minutes.

"Mr. Parks you are supposed to attend the annual spirits fest and drama club inaugural function of the Withrow University. We have to be there at sharp 9" Ivan replied. "Damn, this day wouldn't have gone any worse. Just cancel the event right now. I'm not going to attend some boring University function" Ethan said pissed off about the happenings of the day. "I'm sorry Mr. Parks I can't do this. There's a strict order from your grandfather Senior Mr. Parks that you should attend this event at any cost. And you are very well aware that I can't defy him." Ivan replied a bit worried about Ethan's reaction. "Of course he would want me attend this event at any cost afterall he is one of the board member of the University" Ethan said mockingly.

"Now what are you staring at? Your work is done right, just get lost" Ethan said arrogantly to Ivan a few moments later. Ivan leaves Ethan's office immediately. To someone else the way Ethan spoke to Ivan would seem very rude and wrong but for Ivan it was very much normal or rather say he was by now used to Ethan's rude demeanour. Ivan was appointed by Ethan's grandfather to look after Ethan's needs and to report him about every detail related to Ethan. Over the years Ivan had built a bond with Ethan. It would be wrong to say that Ivan was just Ethan's assistant, he was someone who knew Ethan like the back of his hand. He was very well aware of Ethan's taste, his mood, his habits, almost everything about him. Ethan too trusted Ivan and would often confide some of his troubles in him. Even though Ivan very well knew that Ethan's wrong in his thinking he was helpless to ever say anything to him.

Ethan's POV:

Williams is such an i***t. He must have hit his head somewhere, else why on earth would he make such a stupid decision? I mean like seriously, he cancelled the meeting of a whopping 50 million dollar deal for the sake of a woman. She's just broke her hand, she wasn't dying that he had to be beside her. He's becoming a business haphazard after marrying that sick woman he claims to love. It's yet again proved that love makes you irrational. I sigh and go through the pending files that needs my attention.

As I was busy with the files there was a knock on my cabin door "come in", I shout. Susy a female employ walks in with a file. "Good morning Mr. Parks, this is the file that you asked me to complete by today. Could please have a look and tell me if any changes are required to be made" she handed me the file with a flirtatious smile batting her eyelashes. I smirk taking the file as I look through it. This is the effect that I have on women and I sort of enjoy the fact that they are ever ready to throw themselves on me. I haven't met a women who wasn't charmed by me. "There's no changes required. You may leave now" I say in a bossy way. "Thank you Mr. Parks" saying so she leaves my cabin.

I look at my watch, it's eight thirty, time to leave. Arrgghh! I just hate that I can never bring myself up to defy grandpa. According to him it would be great for me to attend the Withrow University event for the new drama theaters and publication house that I'm investing in. And it would also benefit him as a board member if I could recruit a few talent from the University. With this I have no choice but to attend the event.

I walk out of my office to see Ivan already waiting for me at the entrance. We head towards my car and get ourselves seated. The entire journey was filled with Ivan giving me details about the event and other important things. Honestly I was very much nonchalant about attending this event but nevertheless I'm totally helpless. When we reach the university it was sharp 9. I could see the principal, teachers and few students waiting for my arrival. I must say the decorations did look amazing. As I exit my car I see principal approach me with a bouquet, "Welcome Mr. Parks" she said handing me the bouquet with a smile. " Thank you principal Madam" I replied plainly. I was not in the least interested to be here let alone smile to some old lady welcoming me to this boring function. "Meet Ms. Jessica Adams, the fest incharge and the mind behind the Drama club" Principal madam introduced me to a girl beside her. That's when I notice a girl clad in green off shoulder dress coming up till her knee, her jet black hair falling freely just below her shoulders and a few strands on her beautiful face.

She's beautiful was the only thing going on in my mind at that moment. She forwarded her hand as she spoke, "Welcome Mr. Parks". Her voice sounded like a soothing music to my ear. Breaking from my reverie I held her hand really tight not wanting to let it go. "Thank you Ms. Adams" I replied smirking at her. I start gazing her from top to bottom. She's got a perfect body, beautiful face and a melodious voice, Wow it feels like she's cast some spell on me that I can't take my eyes off her even when she left from there excusing herself. I just kept seeing her until she disappeared from my sight.

The boring function that I was reluctant to attend suddenly felt interesting to me. "This way Mr. Parks" principal madam spoke leading me to the auditorium. I was looking around hoping to have a glimpse of her again. I could see all the girls gushing about how handsome I was but for the first time it didn't please me like it usually used to. This certain someone had my undivided attention. As I made my way to the auditorium a sudden thought crossed my mind, "she wasn't charmed or flattered by me like other girls here". That's something new to me, she's different for sure. She turned the sore day that I was cursing since morning, into an amazing one. What have you done to me Jessica Adams? I'm totally Enchanted By You.
