Chapter 3
Nicole Pov
As soon as I woke Mia up, she begged me that I should take Miss Rose and her to the park.
"No, not today Mia."I shrugged. "I have many schedule today"
"Dad please thirty minutes," she pouted.
"Okayyy"I sighed.
As we got there I rang the bell but no response, so I opened it myself, Mia ran towards her and embraced her tightly.
She was very happy to see us, I felt pleased as I hugged her , so I released my body from her..
"Dad is taking us to the park, go and get dressed Miss Rose"Mia giggled.
"Wow!, she exclaimed . She is very happy about this.
She went inside for thirty minutes
After minutes of waiting, Miss Rose carried Mia into her arm softly and we went to where I parked my car
When we got to the park, Mia ran off and Rose and I found a place to sit.
"Are you going to work today? "Rose asked me.
"Am going by eleven I have a meeting "he replied pouting.
Rose chuckled a little, and watched Mia playing with the other kids. Both of us sat in silence for a while until Mia broke it
"Rose"........ a beautiful voice shouted my name
I snapped my attention and found Mia. Rose and I ran to where she was. "What happened darling?"I asked, slightly panicked.
"An ant". Rose saw it and stepped on it."No big deal darling "I chuckled
Mia was now in my arms hugging me tightly.
"Wait, this is twenty minutes to eleven, please both of you kindly let me go". I said and dropped Mia,"am off to work darling ggg "I whined
"Noooooooooooooo"Mia whined "Stay with us daddy"She said.
"I can't be my Princess, I have to work. "I replied
"No worries, more fun when he is away"Rose added
Mia sighed and hugged Rose.
"Thanks Rose"I appreciated

"Let's go get ice cream baby" Rose said smiling
Mia cheered and she took her to the ice cream direction.
Rose Pov
I have officially been babysitting Mia for three weeks now and my life has been the best of all. My pains and my quiet has been replaced with happiness, more joy and laughter. I have both Mia and Nicole. Am the happiest human being on earth now.
I was baking doughnuts in the bakery when Mia and her dad came in.
"Good morning here". Mr Nicole greeted
"Morning sir". "How was your night Mia?" I turned to Mia
"Fine Miss Rose". She replied smiling
"Please, let me get going "Picking his car keys from his pocket and kissed Mia on forehead
"Byeeee"He waved at us and went his way.
"Let's make cupcakes," Mia said. "Huhn, let's go darling Princess.
After some minutes, we finished with a batch but I noticed Mia was feeling dizzy, so I touched her body and it's very hot. "Mia, how are you feeling?. "I asked
"Headache"She replied slowly. "ok, let me call your dad"
I picked my phone on the counter and dialed Mr Nicole's contact, he picked up in a minute. "Mia is hot and feeling dizzy,bring your car, so we can take her to the hospital ". I sighed
"Alright, I'm coming." He replied scared
I picked cloth on the counter and put it inside cold water, I put it on her forehead.
After ten minutes, I heard the doorbell ring. I know it's Mr Nicole, he didn't wait for me to open up before he bagged in.
"Hope she is ok?. He asked furiously."A little bit, but let's take her to hospital for a check up. "I said calmly
I carried Mia in my arms and got into the car. He asked me a few questions as we were in the car about when she started feeling dizzy. I explained everything to him, and he sighed
As we got there, he asked the doctor to attend to her daughter as soon as possible. Maybe that is their family hospital.
After some minutes,"it just a fever " doctor said
"ohhh I thought so too," I replied. "Please make sure you give her the prescribed drug," the doctor said.
"I will, that's not a problem." I assured him and we left the hospital to Mr Nicole penthouse.
"Sorry dear I am going to my house I will come tomorrow"I told Mia
"No please stay with me to give me my drugs tonight. "Mia pouted
"No, your dad can help. "I replied
"Please" she said
"Okay fine, but I will leave tonight"I sighed.
"Thanks Miss Rose "Mia smiled
Her dad came to her room with a small cup of tea, she drank it and I explained our conversation to Mr Nicole.
Nicole Pov
As soon as I dropped Mia to Rose's bakery,I went my way, as I got to the office.I went through the file Abby brought to the table, as I dropped it , my phone rang and I saw its Rose, wondering what had happened I picked up, and she said Mia was feeling dizzy.
I got the car key and went directly to the bakery. As we got to the hospital, the doctor attended to her and we went directly to the penthouse.
I was happy as Mia told Rose to stay with her, I don't know why I am feeling that way.
Suddenly I remembered I had a meeting with Charlie's company.
"Please can you excuse me for an hour I have a meeting. "I asked
"Yea Dad" she smirked. "At least Miss Rose is here." She added smiling
"Stay safe guys" I sent a kiss and rushed out.
As I got to office back, Abby came to my office.
"Good morning sir."Abby greeted "morning Abby."I replied. "The CHARLIE COMPANY rejected our contract sir"She replied sadly.
"What!!!." I exclaimed "How?" I stammered
"Tell me it's a joke"I said laughing strangely
"Answer me woman"I yelled
