Episode 14

Anuj was sitting beside Naina and was thinking about his dream. He is not understanding when everything is finished how can he see the dream. He saw the doctor near the door and stood up and welcomed him inside the room.

The doctor checked Naina and said, “just some weakness,” and prescribed medicines and went away from there.

It can’t just be a weakness, I have to find out whether Priya is behind it or someone else. He called Michael and gave him the address of Vikram’s house and asked him to meet there in one hour and disconnected the call.

“Sorry Naina, I don’t think we ended our bad dream, but I will make sure it ends soon,” he thought to himself and tried to wake up Naina.

He noticed some strange things happening in the room, but ignored them and behaved as if he didn’t observe anything.

After some time Naina woke up and looked at him and smiled.

“Naina, get ready, we are going out for lunch,” he said.

“I am not feeling like going out, can we go any other time,” she said gloomily.

“No...you just get out of bed and get ready, we are going out now,” said Anuj sternly and pulled her out of bed.

She looked at him for some time and went towards the washroom.

Anuj changed his dress and combed his hair and looked at the washroom and saw that Naina was looking at him with pleading eyes.

Naina, nothing is going to change my decision, we are going means we are going and it’s final.

Naina went into the walk-in closet and changed into the blue jeans with white umbrella top with floral print and came and stood before Anuj and asked, “is it that much necessary?”

Anuj smiled and kissed her forehead and said, “we can spend here also, but you are weak, I thought after all these happenings we need some change.”

Naina made a sad face and looked at the bed and nodded as okay.

Vikram went to meet his old friend, Matthew and knocked on the door and waited for him to open the door.

One lady opened the door and looked at him and asked, “Yes, whom do you want to meet?”

“I came here to meet Mr. Matthew,” said Vikram looking at her suspiciously.

“He is out of station and will return next month only,” she said and tried to close the door.

Vikram put his hand on the door and asked, “May I know who are you?”

The lady thought for some time and said, “I am his wife,” and closed the door.

Vikram stood there for some time and thought, “I have seen this lady somewhere, but where, I am not able to remember, that soul has to capture my KK only, now who will help me to solve all these doubts,” and started to go away from there when he heard some voice.

“Don’t go away, she is trying to divert you, just stay there and knock on the door again,” said the voice.

Vikram thought for some time and knocked on the door again.

The lady came and opened the door and looked at him angrily and asked, “what do you want now?”

“Ask for water,” said the voice.

“I forgot to bring my water bottle, can I get some water to drink?” asked Vikram looking at her.

“Push her and go in,” said the voice.

Vikram scolded himself for listening to ghosts and pushed her along with the door and went into the house.

“Listen you, whoever you are, if you don’t go out now, I am going to call the police,” she said looking at him angrily.

He went and settled himself on the couch and asked, “where is Matthew?”

I already told you, he is out of station.

I don’t think you are his wife, because he is my bestfriend and he cannot marry without sending me invitation.

“You ask him when you meet him personally, how can I know why he didn’t invite you,” she said angrily.

Vikram smiled and looked here and there and saw one closed door and asked, “that is bedroom, right?”

“Yes, but he is not there in that room,” she said.

“I know, he is not there,” said Vikram and waited for the voice to give him some information.

“I think you should leave now, as you know, he is not there,” said the lady showing irritation.

Vikram smiled and was about to say something, he heard, “he is in the kitchen cabinet, unconscious.”

“Can you give me his number, I lost his number,” said Vikram.

“Okay,” she said and went towards the bedroom to bring her mobile and Vikram rushed towards the kitchen and tried to open the cabinet and saw that it was locked.

“s**t…,” he said and stomped his leg and saw the hammer and took it and hit on the cabinet and heard, “what are you trying to do Mister?” and raised his head and saw the lady was standing in front of him.

Vikram looked at her angrily and asked, “why you locked it?”

“It is my kitchen, I can do whatever I want to do,” she said and took a knife in her hand.

Vikram without giving a second thought, took his gun in his hand and pointed towards the lady and asked, “where is Matthew?”

When you know, where is he, why are you asking me again?

“Open the cabinet now,” he ordered her.

She smiled and came and opened the cabinet and Matthew fell on their feet and the lady smiled and said, “he can’t help you in anyway,” and fell on the floor.

Vikram bent down and saw that the lady is dead and looked at Matthew and tried to feel his pulse, but it was weak.

“He is dead, you did a mistake by ordering that lady to open the cabinet,” said the voice.

“That is not a mistake, I didn’t had any other option,” said Vikram angrily.

“Look at the lady’s hand,” said the voice.

Vikram bent again and opened the lady’s fist and saw the syringe in her hand and said, “s**t, she already planned everything.”

She didn’t plan, she is also a victim, she died before you reached her house, look at her head.

Vikram looked at her head and saw that she was killed by hitting on the head.

“Who are you?” Asked Vikram.

“I think rather than asking me questions, you should reach your house,” said the voice.

I want to know who are you? I thought you are the one from KK’s body, but your voice feels different.

“Yes, we will meet again, bye for now,” said the voice.

Vikram got angry and called the ambulance and left from there.

Anuj and Naina came out of the house, and Anuj put the cross, which he took from KK’s hand after the incident, on the door and smiled and moved away from there before Naina could observe what he was doing.

“Did you lock the door,” she asked looking at him confused.

“Yes, I locked it tightly, now no one can enter it,” he said and smiled.

She looked at him confused and asked, “why are you so adamant of going out now?”

“Surprise,” he said and ignited the car and asked, “what do you want to eat?”

“Anuj, I am not interested in eating anything, can’t we just spend sometime in the park or some other place and return to home soon?” she asked looking at him.

“Yeah, sure, as you say darling,” he said and started the car.

Naina was looking out of the window and was in her own thoughts and didn’t even realize where they were going.

After some time, Anuj came to her side and asked her to come out when she looked at Vikram’s house and asked, “why we came here?”

“To know something,” said Anuj and held her hand and rang the bell.

Vikram came and opened the door and looked at Anuj angrily and asked, “can’t you come early, why are you so late?”

Naina looked at him confused and asked, “did he inform you that we are coming?”

“No...he didn’t inform me, but I was expecting him from a long time,” said Vikram going towards the couch.

Naina was looking at him confused as she was not understanding why he was expecting Anuj, but Anuj was smiling and went and made himself comfortable on the couch and said, “Naina is going to stay here from today.”

“Do you all think my house is a big bungalow with a lot of rooms that everybody wants to come and settle in my house?” Asked Vikram looking at him angrily.

“No...your house is small, but your heart is big,” said Anuj smiling and looked at KK.

KK was sitting in front of him and staring at him and Anuj was getting a weird feeling looking at him.

Naina was looking at KK who was glaring Anuj and asked, “KK, are you okay?”

Before KK could say anything, “Naina, why don’t you make some tea for three of us?” asked Vikram.

“Only three?” She asked.

“Yes, KK, can’t drink the tea,” said Vikram looking at KK.

Naina went towards the kitchen and Anuj looked at KK and asked, “what do you want to say?”

“You are mad, how can you do that, what do you think, you can save Naina by doing so?” asked KK looking at him angrily.

I did what I thought was correct, I didn’t had any other option than doing that.

“You are making her powerful with your ignorance,” said KK.

“What do you want me to do?” Asked Anuj looking at him confused.

“I can’t say anything, you have to connect the dots now, if I say something, everything will get spoiled,” said KK looking at Sneha.

Anuj looked at Sneha and thought for some time and asked, “can I help her?”

Yes, you only can help her, but I can’t tell you in what way, you have to find it out by yourself, but you have to do it before anybody can understand about it.

“Where is she?” Asked Anuj looking at him.

“Sorry, you have to find out by yourselves, I can’t take the risk,” said KK.

Vikram who was listening to them was not undrstanding anything, but he was not able to question anything to them, because KK is not answering anything straightly.
