Her Voice

Episode 1

    Life will not be the same for everybody, someone has to struggle to achieve something and someone will have everything, but no shoulder to cry or share their happiness and they will always be alone though they have everything to enjoy.

    Anuj is a 24-year-old businessman, who has everything, which was left behind by his parents. His father died when he was just 13 years old and nobody knows how he died and he was not of the age to understand what happened to him and after his father’s death, mother used to take care of the business, but it was short lived as she also died after two years with unknown reasons, as he didn’t see her dead body.

    He was unconscious for two days and he didn't know what exactly happened. His grandfather informed him that his mother died and he said that he was unconscious for two days, so final rites were performed without him. After his mother’s dismissal, his grandfather came to take care of him and took care of his business as well, but he also died with what everybody thought was a heart attack, but it felt as though somebody murdered him. Anuj didn’t had the time to appoint the PI as he had to take over the business at the age of 18 and he became successful in it, but there is no one in his life, not even the friend c*m wife, whom he loved for the past 13 years, and got married three years ago. One day, she came to him and suddenly she asked for divorce, and went to court after repeated attempts to settle the matter.

    Presently, he is on his way for a meeting with the entrepreneur who is living in another city and he was busy driving while listening to the songs from his car radio.

    Suddenly, the radio started to make weird noises and he had to stop the car by the side as he was not able to tolerate the loud noise and when he tried to turn off it, it was not reacting to his finger touch, unable to control the radio, he thought of going out of the car when suddenly the noise stopped by itself and said Hi Handsome. He looked at the radio for sometime and started the car, as it has become normal to him and he has been getting psychiatric treatment for it for a long time.

    He went to his bungalow, which he bought recently as he was planning to shift to this city to be away from all those memories of his lovely wife, Naina.

    He went directly into his bedroom and threw away his bag in the cupboard and went directly to bed and slept.

    When he opened his eyes, he was at the riverside enjoying the sunrise. He saw two ladies running towards the river and they boarded on the boat and he also saw one boy was sitting there hugging his folded legs and looking towards the river.  Both went driving by themselves without helmsman and after they reached the middle of the river boat turned upside down and both drowned, and Anuj started to run towards them to help them, but his leg got caught in the mud, he looked down and thought when I came here there was no mud, how it came here suddenly and he tried to free his leg, and started shouting at the boy to look at his side, but the boy didn’t turn.

    Anuj applied all his force to remove his leg from the mud, but failed, but suddenly his leg freed by itself and he looked down and saw that the ground is dry and he without caring about it started to run to save the ladies, but suddenly he saw the bodies floating on the water and stopped there, but thought they may have not dead and started to run again, when again his leg was caught in mud and he looked at the river when one lady stood up and came to the shore by walking on the water and came near the boy and said, “you are also going to die soon like others” and disappeared and he looked at the river and the other body also disappeared in front of his eyes and his leg got freed.

    He went near the boy calling him to turn back, but the boy didn’t turn, he thought he might have been shocked by the incident, so he thought of going in front of him, and in the process he touched the shoulder of the boy and the boy disappeared and suddenly the high frequency sound hit his ears and he not able to tolerate the sound closed his eyes and ears tightly.

    He suddenly opened his eyes and saw that he was sleeping on his bed. He looked here and there to find out from where the sound was coming and his eyes fell on the phone. He took the phone in his hand and off the alarm and tried to recollect when he kept the alarm, as he doesn’t keep the alarm in his phone. He arose from the bed and went downstairs and opened the fridge to get the water bottle when he saw Mili, his maid, who was appointed by one of his friends and he sent him all the details of her through the phone.

    She came near Anuj and asked, what you would like to have for breakfast sir.

    He looked at her for some time and said, “I don’t mind eating anything as I am not choosy at food, you don’t need to ask me before cooking. You are free to cook anything, but it should be delicious.”

    Before going to his bedroom, he turned around and asked, “Mili, did you do the cleaning of the house, as I like the house to be always clean.”

    Yes, I did it as soon as I came here in the morning, she said going towards the kitchen.

    Anuj went upstairs and did his morning chores and came out and when he started combing his hair, he saw a small piece of paper beside the dressing table and called Mili by shouting her name.

    Mili you said that you cleaned the house, then where from this piece of paper came.

    Mili looked at the paper and thought, “there are no papers in the whole house, then how come a piece of paper came here and she took the paper in her hand to throw it in the dustbin.”

    Do check before throwing it in the dustbin, he said.

    It is a plain piece of paper, she said and went away and threw it in the dustbin thinking he only might have brought it through his luggage and unnecessarily shouting at me.

    Anuj unpacked his bag and arranged everything accordingly and came down when he found a piece of paper on the table and he got irritated at Mili.

    Mili, I think you should throw the scrap in the dustbin and not keep it on the dining table.

    Mili looked at him confused, but then looked at his hand and looked at the piece of paper confusingly and went to the dustbin and looked into it and found the paper in it as well.

    She came and took the piece of paper from his hand and was about to go to the dustbin when he asked to bring the paper to him. She said nothing is written on it.

    He took the paper from her hand and looked at it, he was shocked to see Hi Handsome written on it.
