“I got something for you” Luca texted.

“Why,thank you.” I replied.

“It’s an outfit it will compliment my outfit and scream powerful team, I just know you’ll look sensational in it.” Luca texted back.

“I’m curious now.” I replied back with excitement.

“This is really important, we have to appear as one .they think your family is responsible for the explosion at one of our houses…” Luca said

“What!?!” I asked.

“Yeah, so we can’t afford to fail. it will be difficult enough to convince them to trust each other.”Luca said.

“This outfit is the first step.” He added

I was still staring at my phone when the house keeper walked in.

“I just got this for you.” She said

“Thank you” I said .

I tried them on as she left. Luca knew exactly what he was doing when he chose this outfit, it’s sexy!.

Luca and I will definitely look like a power couple in this outfits.

“He is right” I said.

“Elisa meet my family, my father, carmine.”Luca said.

“Elisa your reputation precedes you” mr carmine said.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you”I greeted.

“My best friend and right hand man, Ethan.” Luca added.

“Nice to meet you Ethan”.

“Since you’re introducing family, let me introduce myself I am………”

“That’s my cousin Giovanni” I cut him short.

“I have heard about you” Luca said.

“Good things I hope” Gio replied.

“ well depends on what you call good” Luca said.

“Excuse me, I think they are calling for me” Gio said

“By all means” Luca replied back.

Luca turned to me.

“ there are more in the family, but I’ll show you the rest later.” Luca said

“ alright, come on I’ll introduce you to my father.” I said.

“Mr Vincenzo” Luca said greeting dad.

“Luca, finally we meet face to face.” Dad said

“ indeed.”Luca said.

“I have to admit I was very surprised when Elisa brought up the idea of this alliance. Let’s hope it pays off but should we ever encounter any issue ….” Dad said.

“We won’t you have my word.” Luca said.

“I hope you know better than to try and cross us otherwise there will be dire consequences, to say the least.” Dad said walking off.

Luca turned to me and said “ remind me never to get on your dad’s bad side.”

“Let’s get a drink we probably need one after this.” I said to Luca.

“You were never my fiancée, you knew it was simply an arrangement between our families that I had no intentions of honouring.” Luca said.

“What are you here for?” I asked

“ I didn’t come here only for Luca, I came for you. Watch your back, because as long as you’re with Luca, you’re in my way.” Chara said to me.

This was a direct challenge to my authority, my heritage - one that demanded a response proportionate to my title as a mafia princess. I felt every eyes in the room on me scrutinising. waiting for a c***k in my armour.but I could not and would not let them see that. Especially not Luca.

I am a Vincenzo my family didn’t build their empire by backing down from threats.

_I stand tall, my eyes locked on Chara's, a cold smile spreading across my face_

"Is that a threat, Chara?" I ask, my voice dripping with venom. "Because if it is, let me make one thing very clear: I am not some fragile little flower that you can intimidate with empty words."

_I take a step closer to him, my eyes blazing with fury_

"I am Elisa Vincenzo, daughter of Don Vincenzo, and I will not be threatened by the likes of you. You think you can come at me, try to scare me off, just because I'm with Luca? Newsflash, Chara: I'm not just with Luca, I'm a force to be reckoned with in my own right."

_I raise an eyebrow, my voice taking on a mocking tone_

"You think you're the first person to try to intimidate me? To try to get in my way? Please. I've been dealing with scum like you since I was a teenager. You're just a pathetic little wannabe, trying to make a name for yourself by taking shots at me."

_I take another step closer, my eyes locked on his, my voice dropping to a deadly whisper_

"Let me tell you something, Chara. If you come at me, if you try to hurt me or mine, you will regret it. I have the power of the Vincenzo family behind me, and I will not hesitate to use it. You're not even a blip on my radar, Chara. But if you keep pushing, if you keep trying to get in my way, I'll make sure you become a priority."

_I smile again, a cold, calculated smile_

"So, I suggest you back off, Chara. I suggest you remember your place and stay out of mine. Because if you don't, I'll make sure you regret ever crossing me."

Luca added “ it’s vital for us to move forward together so no more failed threats chara.”

“Understood” chara said with fear in her eyes.
