The following day, Dinvahèbin, Bùce, and I, took our leave from the Ladies of Cypress Castle in order to retrieve our journey on the way to Adar Mòrnoth Volcano. The early hours were spent in silence, for we felt unable to find words to comment on the events of the day before. Eventually, Dinvahèbin suddenly halted, got in my way, and asked: “Hairam, why did you do that? You knew my heart is evil and sooner or later I shall try once more and kill you! Why, then?”
“I do not wish to talk about it. I did what I had to”, I sharply dodged the argument, for. perhaps, actually I was unable to answer that question for myself either. “Our next goal, we reach the volcano”.
