Chapter Four
Sam had been looking for the business card that Jenna gave her all morning. She had checked just about everywhere twice and was finally thinking about calling Jenna. Opening her desk drawer, she rummaged through it one last time until someone knocked on the door.
"Come in." She didn't look up, just kept digging through the drawer.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
Alex? That was unexpected. She tried to close the drawer, but pens were not in it right and it refused to close. She looked up at him, all six feet of him, and then around her office. It was a mess, even by her standards. Right now would be the time he chose to come by.
