Chapter Nine None of the clothes she owned looked good on her. It was a hard realization to come to just one hour before she was supposed to meet her date. Her new hardwood floors in her bedroom were no longer dark wood; they were covered in almost everything she owned. It had been a very long time since anyone had asked her out on a date, and longer since she'd agreed. She was nervous, and it was showing through every time she looked in the mirror. She'd only liked one outfit so far, a pair of jeans with a black top that had black lace that ran up the middle of the sleeves showing her arms.
