Chapter Seven
"I brought wine!" Jenna announced as she walked into Liz and Nate's house Friday night.
"How much wine do you guys need?" Nate looked around at the bottles covering the bar and shook his head.
"Never know, depends on how much we have to talk about." Jenna replied.
All the women laughed, and Nate mumbled something and headed out the door. He was on a quick retreat to get away from all the women. They had pizza, meat and cheese trays, fruit trays, vegetable trays, and cupcakes. It looked like they were expecting a ton of people, not just four of them.
"I hope you guys don't mind, I invited Pauline and Mary." Kelly mentioned, sounding worried that maybe she had messed up.
A chorus of women said they didn't mind and wine starting flowing.
"I needed this, you guys." Sam too
