As soon as she opened her eyes, the world was awash in color. The bright morning sun streamed in through the window, casting golden rays across her face. She stretched, feeling the soft warmth of the bed beneath her and the cool breeze of the morning air on her skin. She took a deep breath, and smelled the heady scent of fresh flowers and newly cut grass. Yes, this was going to be a good day.
She got up, and looked out the window. The world was a dazzling array of colors, each one more vibrant and alive than the last. The grass was a deep, lush green, the leaves of the trees a riot of gold and red and orange. The sky was a brilliant blue, with fluffy white clouds drifting lazily across its expanse. She smiled, feeling a sense of joy and wonder at the beauty of it all.
She got dressed, pulling on a bright yellow sundress and a pair of sandals, and headed out into the world. As she walked down the street, she took in the colors around her. The red brick of the buildings, the bright blue of the sky reflected in the windows, the pink and purple flowers blooming in the gardens along the way.Everywhere she looked, there was color, each one more alive and vibrant than the last.
She arrived at the park, and breathed in the fresh, crisp air. The park was a riot of color, with the green grass stretching out as far as the eye could see, the bright orange and yellow of the leaves on the trees, and the colorful flowers blooming in the gardens. She closed her eyes and listened to the sound of the birds singing, the rustle of the leaves in the wind, and the distant murmur of people going about their day.
For a moment, she felt at peace. She felt as though she were a part of something greater, something that was alive and vibrant and beautiful. She opened her eyes, and took a deep breath, feeling the colors of life coursing through her veins. Yes, this was a good day indeed.
