Chapter 39 Jamie Jamie walked among his group, listening to the even breathing of children and the grandparents with too loud snores. “We should be there by morning,” Birsha said from Jamie’s side. “We just need to avoid the patrol again.” Jamie looked toward the road. “They know we are here somewhere; they just don’t know where we are.” He could barely hear his own voice but didn’t dare speak any louder.
