Thordric and Ourellus surveyed the city’s outer walls to see how extensive the damage was. The entire north facing wall was destroyed, being the one that had faced the battle and so received the full brunt of Thordric’s magic, and the east and west walls were both cracked down the middle. The south wall, however, remained standing with barely any marks on it at all.
‘Do you need any help?’ Ourellus asked as he watched his son roll up his sleeves in preparation to begin rebuilding.
‘I don’t think so, I’ve fixed buildings quite a few times before, and even though this is bigger than any of those, my magic is much stronger now,’ Thordric replied confidently.
