Alar returned to his room to find a very excited Adam awaiting him.
“Look what I found in the drawer there,” he said, holding up a jar with a familiar liquid inside of it. “It’s got a very interesting aroma to it even without taking the lid off. Wonder who could’ve left something like this.”
Alar took the jar and examined it with the same knowing grin as his mate. “Huh. Probably something Fagan left for us, knowing him. He’s…thoughtful like that.” He removed the lid and both squirrels jerked their heads back at the smell. “Whoa!”
“Powerful stuff, that,” said Adam.
“Aye. Wonder what’s in it, exactly.”
“Not sure.” Adam took another good sniff of the substance and began twitching his tail like mad. “But I’m willing to find out if you are.”
Alar was not sure what, but something in that instant seemed to snap inside of him. No doubt it had to do with the heady aroma wafting through the air, but suddenly he felt a rush of primal passions come to the fore. He vaguely remembered that he had something to talk about with Adam, but even that thought disappeared from his mind as he beheld the wild gleam in Adam’s eyes. Only one thing mattered to them both in that moment, and they pursued it without a second thought.
Alar set the jar aside and pressed his lips against Adam’s so hard that their incisors nearly clicked together. They grasped one another’s sides and began to tug at their shirt hems. Alar allowed his mate to push him onto the bed and hastily unbuttoned his vest. Adam did the same. They then took off their shirts, followed by their trousers and undershorts in one fluid motion. Their excitement was clearly visible, with their members already halfway up. Adam got down on his knees at once and began helping Alar’s along with licking while stroking his own with one paw. Once they were both fully erect, Alar slid further up onto the bed, then rolled over onto all fours, tail raised.
“Ready when you are,” he said, waggling his rear a bit.
Adam promptly climbed up onto the bed behind his mate. But before reaching for the jar, he bent over and began licking Alar’s tail hole. Alar gasped as his masterful tongue work further aroused and excited his already swollen erection. Finally, after a minute of rimming, Adam rose up and reached for the jar. From it he scooped out a generous pawful of the strong-smelling substance and slathered his throbbing member liberally. It dripped onto the bed, but he didn’t care. Only one thing mattered in the moment. And so, taking a bit more, he applied it to Alar’s hole, making sure to slide a couple digits inside for full coverage. Then, he set down the jar and wiped his wet paw on the already stained bedspread. At last they were ready.
Alar felt Adam’s practiced paw grab hold of his tail and lift it. For half a second, he felt that familiar tingle of anticipation, that calm before the storm. He reminded himself to relax despite his excitement, and let out a sigh. This was the signal.
At once he felt the warm, firm tip of Adam’s maleness probing his hole, guided by Adam’s other paw. In the blink of an eye, he had pressed himself almost effortlessly into Alar’s slick tail hole. Alar barely gasped, so accustomed was he to this sensation by now. He willed himself to relax again as Adam’s p***s, that fine, beautiful totem of masculinity, rested snugly inside his rectum for a moment. But as Adam gripped his sides and began thrusting with his hips, he emitted moans of painful pleasure. Adam likewise let out quiet grunts with each thrust. In his current wild state, these grunts came as music to Alar’s ears, and he began to push back against Adam’s pelvis each time he pushed forward. His mate responded by speeding up his movements. Through the pounding of his heart and the panting of his chest, Alar’s sense of self-control vanished. Instinct had taken over completely, and he could think of nothing but feeling his mate delve deeper…deeper…deeper!
Soon his moans were blending with those of Adam, rising in volume to become some primal, savage melody. That their song could be heard down the corridor did not even cross their minds in their state of ecstasy. At last came the crescendo.
Alar felt Adam’s grip tighten like a vice on his sides. He could feel his claws digging deep into the flesh, but it didn’t matter. Nothing mattered as he heard his mate’s sweet moans and felt the hot seed gushing into his rectum. This wild, primeval satisfaction was all that mattered in that glorious moment. It was overshadowed only by the incredible feeling of his own release, triggered by Adam’s forcefully probing member. He could hardly believe it even as he felt it: he was coming paws free!
“Aw, f**k! Aw, f**k! Awwww, f**k!” exclaimed Alar almost involuntarily as the first wave of pleasure hit him like a thunderbolt. A burning sensation at once painful and intensely wonderful enveloped his whole body. He felt as though he might catch fire. He felt as though his heart might burst with the strain. But he genuinely didn’t care as he savored the sensation of shooting his load all over the bedspread.
As the last drop of his energy was spent and he feared he might pass out from the exertion, he felt Adam’s thrusts slow down, then stop entirely. They paused for a moment to catch their breath, then Adam pulled out with a satisfyingly slick sound. Alar collapsed immediately onto the bed and Adam beside him, chests heaving. The two looked into each other’s eyes for a long moment as the wild light slowly left their gaze. Adam reached over and touched Alar’s tender member, then shook his head in surprise.
“You actually came? That never happens!”
“I know,” said Alar, still panting.
“Well,” Adam sighed, glancing at the jar on the side table. “That’s some stuff there.”
“Yeah. I think I’ll stick to our normal kind from now on.”
“Me too.”
Thus, after cleaning themselves off a bit, they cast aside the thoroughly drenched coverlet and fell fast asleep in each other’s warm embrace. In his exhaustion, Alar completely forgot to talk to Adam about Fagan’s proposal. It was not until he awoke the next morning that he even remembered.
He looked to Adam, who was still peacefully sleeping. He tried ever-so-gently to extricate himself from his lover’s grasp without waking him. His attempt failed, as Adam began to stir immediately.
“My, but it’s late,” he said, noting how the sun was already streaming in through the windows.
“Aye,” replied Alar. “Must’ve been our little activity last night.”
“Hmm, yes.” Adam smiled at the recollection. “Well worth it, though.”
“Agreed.” He bent over to kiss him on the cheek, then began again with a sigh. “Adam.”
“Yes, hon?”
“There’s…something I need to talk to you about.”
“Go right ahead.”
So, Alar told him of Fagan and Ambrosia’s request, right down to the minutest detail. Adam remained silent throughout, and for some time afterward. He knit his brow as he often did when in deep thought. Then, at last, he lifted his gaze and curled his tail into a question mark.
“Do you want to?” he asked.
“What?”
“Do you want to help them out?”
“Well of course I do. That’s why I came all this way. It’s only, this isn’t like carrying my sword and playing dress up to impress the Corallians. This is something else entirely, and I don’t know if I should.”
“I think you should.”
“You’d be all right with that?” Alar was surprised by his mate’s level of understanding, though he knew by now he shouldn’t be.
“Well, yeah.” Adam placed a paw on Alar’s chest and smiled reassuringly. “They’re our friends, Alar. And you’d be doing the kingdom a favor. Isn’t that what you’re always on about? Doing one’s duty to king and country?”
“Yeah, but…”
“So, there you are. You’ll have to do it, then.”
“That’s assuming I can,” said Alar, rubbing his neck. “I mean, Ambrosia’s nice-looking and all, but that doesn’t really do it for me the way this does, you know?” He touched Adam’s member lightly.
“Maybe I should stand beside you while you do it so you can look at me instead,” said Adam, chuckling a bit. Suddenly Alar’s ears shot up and his eyes widened.
“That’s it!”
“What’s it?”
“I’ll ask if you can be there too.”
“Alar, I doubt…”
“That’ll be my condition. I’ll tell Fagan that if I can’t have you there as well, I won’t be able to perform right.”
“You really think he’ll accept that? Or Ambrosia for that matter?”
“They’ll have to. It’s either that or find someone else.”
“Well…all right, hon.” They hugged each other for a moment and Adam smiled. “Just think on it: Adam and Alar, fathers of the nation.”
Alar chuckled lightly. “That would be something, wouldn’t it?” He sighed, then sat up on the edge of the bed. “Well, I guess we’d best head downstairs. Might miss breakfast.”
Thus, they got dressed and made themselves presentable, then went down to meet their hosts at the table.
“Well, good mornin’, me beauties!” bade Fagan. “You must’ve been sore exhausted to be sleepin’ in so late.”
“For sure,” remarked Alar, exchanging discreet looks with Adam. “It was…quite a ride getting here.”
“Well, sit yourselves down and we’ll begin. I’ve some good news as well.”
“What’s that?”
“We’ll be able to set out a bit sooner than expected. Isn’t that grand?”
“It is indeed,” said Alar, taking a seat. “What’s the occasion?”
“Some things have come together much quicker than expected,” replied Fagan. He appeared quite cheerful as he said it, but Alar couldn’t help wondering if he was just a little too cheerful. He nodded slowly as he noticed a worried glance from Ambrosia. So, there was still more they weren’t telling him. Looking down at the neatly laid table setting, he said, “That’s the real reason, is it?”
Fagan did not answer, so Alar pressed his point home. “Come on, mate. We both know there’s more to it.”
“You’re right,” Ambrosia spoke first. “There is.”
“And it is?”
“We have received certain warnings from King Basil of Corallia about a band of rebels who may try to interfere with the peace treaty. Perhaps even to the extent of trying to intercept our train en route to Boarra.”
“And why didn’t you mention this before? Your messenger even said that there’d be no real threat on the road.”
“We were afraid you wouldn’t come if you thought there’d be trouble,” spoke Fagan. “And we knew we needed the very best we had to face this potential threat.”
“Why would that deter me? I’ve faced danger before.”
“Aye, I don’t doubt your courage, Alar. It’s only that…Well, I know how dear your Adam is to you. And I figured if you thought there were a chance of not seeing him again, then you might hesitate to come.”
“So you decided to put my husband in danger too?”
“Oh, not at all! He’s more than welcome to stay here with Ambrosia if you’d like.”
“With all due respect,” Adam spoke up. “Whether I come or go is up to me.”
“Sure sure, I just meant that…Well, er…”
For once in his life, Fagan seemed at a loss for words. All the time, Alar never let his demeanor change nor his face give anything away.
“So you lied to me…Because of that?”
“Here now, I wouldn’t put it like that.”
“Perhaps you wouldn’t, but that’s the truth, isn’t it?”
A tense silence developed in which Alar continued looking down at his plate with expression unchanging. Silently Adam prayed for his husband to keep his temper. Alar was not one to be made a fool of and take it lying down. But he neither moved nor changed expression. Only after a long moment did he shake his head and let out a mirthless chuckle.
“Only you could think of something so absurd, mate,” he said, looking up at last. “I forgive you.”
“Really?”
“Of course. Just as long as you realize in future that you need never do it again.” Alar was smiling, but in his eyes there was a dangerous light.
Fagan nodded. “Aye, to be sure, it was silly of me.”
Thus, they began to break their fast at last, and resumed the jovial air of the previous day. On retiring, Alar tapped Fagan on the shoulder and signaled that they should step off to one side.
“Adam said yes,” he said simply.
“Ahh, praise be!”
“But on the condition that he be allowed to help.”
“You mean him and Ambrosia…”
“No. More as an assistant. For my sake.”
“Ahh, I see. Well, that’s only fair, I reckon. I can’t see Ambrosia refusing. The two already get on so well.”
“Aye. Sounds good.” He paused as they were about to return to the others. “Oh, and by the bye, thanks but no thanks for the…ointment.”
“Tried it, did you?” spoke Fagan with a grin.
“We did. But I think we’ll stick to our usual stuff from now on.”
“Aye, I understand. ‘Tis a bit strong, I’ll grant you. Ambrosia rather liked the stuff, though I found it a bit much. Thought you and Adam there might like it more.”
“Fair enough, mate. Fair enough.”
Thus, they proceeded out of the dining room and moved on to more leisurely pursuits with their mates. And on that subject they said no more.
