The Beginning

Roland's POV --------------------- I feel my body starting to wake up as the sun shows brightly through my window. I finally get out of bed and remember the importance of today, it is the first day of my senior year. I get into the shower and get ready for school. I head downstairs and see my mom making my favorite chocolate chip pancakes. She hands me a plate and I eat like there's no tomorrow. I then hear my dad laughing as he watches me eat like I've been starved for months. I finish up and clean my spot. I head to the garage. I walk into the garage and see my baby. I hop onto my 1982 Harley Davidson Fatboy and start heading to my first day of senior year. ---15 Minutes Later--- I see all the new students that were coming from the Dark Moon Pack. My father had signed a treaty between our two packs over the summer. The Dark Moon Packs's Alpha as a sign of good faith in the treaty sent his son, Jason, and a bunch of other high-ranking members to go to school on our territory. I park my bike in an open spot and take off my helmet. I can feel all the new students' eyes on me as if they are waiting for something to happen. There is one pair of eyes that feels different and intense. I just keep my head up and walk into the building. I head to my locker and see my best friend, Max Jones, the beta's son. We have been best friends since we were 5. I see him leaning on the locker next to mine, waiting to fill me in on anything and everything that happened during the summer as he does every first day of school. I walk up to my locker and listen to him gossip as I put my helmet in my locker and grab my books. We had just started walking to class as I felt that intense stare on me again. I turned around to see who or what it was but to no avail I saw no one. I had just turned back around when Max had asked if something was wrong, I told him no and he thankfully didn't ask any more questions. We finally made it to our first class and sat down at my desk in the back next to the window. Max, as always took the seat to my right as we heard a growl come from the door. There was a guy standing in the doorway staring at me as if he was staring into my soul. His eyes held the same intensity as the mysterious stare I felt in the hallways. We made eye contact and I realized he had the most beautiful blue eyes I had ever seen. He short dark brown, almost black, hair that I just wanted to run my fingers through. Wait what am I thinking!? I blink back my thoughts and push down my wolf Cala as I tried to focus on Mr. Phillips talking about what we are doing this year in Honors Calculus. ---2 Classes Later--- I enter the cafeteria and feel all eyes on me. I nod my head telling all my pack members to relax. I get my lunch and sit at my regular table with Max. All of a sudden the cafeteria falls quiet and everyone turns to the doors. Once again, it's that guy I saw earlier during math. We make eye contact once again. It felt as if we were transported to a different dimension where only we existed. I was sadly snapped back to reality when Max started waving his hand in front of my face. I turn to Max and tell him to stop it playfully. I turn back to the mystery guy to see he's gone. I then ask Max who that was. Max responded, "That is none other than the notorious Alpha Jason Strong of The Dark Moon Pack. I heard he is super cocky and arrogant" When I turn back around to see where he went, but by the time I turned to look, he had disappeared. I could smell his scent by the back door so I assume he left the cafeteria altogether. For some reason I found my wolf wanting more of his scent. I could feel Cala wanting to take over and go after him, but I pushed her down and ignored her. I finished my lunch and start heading to my next class. I still hadn't seen hide nor hair of the "notorious" Alpha Jason Strong. Max decided to walk me to my next class, I didn't mind it but I could feel that stare on me again as we headed to my last class of the day. ---After Class--- I headed to my locker to meet up with Max and get my helmet to go home. Instead of seeing Max at my locker, I saw the one and only Alpha Jason Strong. I open my locker trying to ignore him without being rude. He doesn't take the hint and gives me his trademark smirk that makes all the girls swoon. I grab my helmet still ignoring him and start heading to my bike. He follows after me into the parking lot and stops me. Jason then introduces himself "Hello, I believe we haven't met. I am Alpha Jason Strong." I respond while getting on my bike. "I know who you are" I say. "Oh so you've heard of me" he says. I guess Max was right about Jason being cocky. He started talking, but I just wasn't listening. "Yeah... sorry gotta go". I got on my helmet and started to leave. I could hear him yell after me "I never got your name". ---Jason's POV--- I can't believe it. I've met my mate. It just seems like she doesn't know. If she isn't 18, she wouldn't know. My question is who was that guy that was hanging around her all day. I don't like him. I tried talking to her but she basically ignored me the entire time. My wolf, Felix, kept howling in pain at the thought of our mate ignoring us. I just can't get her out of my mind. Her long dark raven black with burgundy streaks, and her agate-like eyes that have rings of different colors with golden specks. Her full curves make me and my wolf, crazy. Ever since I got out of my Jeep this morning at school, I could sense her. I could feel her. God, I don't even know her name, and she's already driving me insane.
