When I went downstairs for coffee the next morning, I could hear Eric outside on the back patio, arguing with someone on his cell phone. His back was turned so he couldn’t see me inside on the sun porch. “It’s none of your f*****g business!” he said. “No, it isn’t, Greg!” Christ. I should have known he was arguing with one of his brothers. With Gary away on vacation with his family, I assumed Greg was forced to serve as Eric’s sole overlord for the week.
