I stand there staring at them in shock and I could feel my eyes brimming with tears. I never thought my parents will support Michael’s idea. I never thought my parents will send me far away from them. Moreover it’s my birthday tomorrow and still they want to send me away. Dad had promised that he won’t let anyone take me away from them and now they themselves are sending me away with a person whom they know nothing about. How could they force me to go with Michael? How is it that everyone listens to what Michael wants? I blink my eyes to get rid of the tears. I don’t want to cry and feel weak in front of them.
