Strange Happenings...

"Girls, hurry up!! It's already 5:30.." Aria yells at us from the doorway.

I had informed my parents about the movie plan and to my surprise they agreed. Usually they never let me go out anywhere without them. But i was happy that my parents agreed for letting me go out with my friends. My dad had come to pick us up from school and dropped us three in Lisa's home and took Luis to home with him. Today my parents came from work early so that Luis wouldn't be alone at home.

"Ohoo..We will reach there on time. Don't worry Ary" Lisa laughed.

Soon we booked a taxi and left to the mall where Michael will be waiting for us. We chitchat, tease each other and giggle throughout the journey. This was really fun and i might have missed this out from my overthinking. 

Michael had already reached there by the time we reached. We get down from the cab and pay him.

Michael waves at us smilingly.

"Finally, you guys came!.. I was thinking you would have changed your mind and dropped the plan in the last moment. Hahaha.." He teases. 

"Anyways, come on, Let's have something first to drink. We still have 15 minutes before the movie starts." He guides us inside.

Aria & Lisa were really happy. I could see that on their face and also I knew that Aria have taken a liking towards Michael. Whenever he says something to her she starts blushing. I was happy for my friends.

We ordered 4 cappuccino and wait for it. Michael seems really friendly but he showed too much of interest into my life, which I didn't like. I felt like he was studying me or something. I just wanted him to concentrate on Aria and that's when i excused myself to go to the washroom.

For some unknown reason I was still feeling nervous. I entered the washroom and to my luck there was no one. I tried to calm myself. Finally i decided to go back to my friends. I walk out of the washroom and literally ran full force into what felt like a brick wall. I completely lost my balance and was above to fall on my butt before i felt some tingling sensation. Now i was not on the floor but safely pulled towards a hard chest. I felt so safe here. All my nervousness was vanished away .I felt like this is where i belong, my safe haven. I was surprised, have never considered anything or anyone, other than my parents and my home as safe haven.

"Are you okay?" My savior asks interrupting my thoughts and i look up to be met with a pair of beautiful emerald eyes. He looks like a god. He was really handsome with those beautiful emerald eyes, thick black hairs and the lightly grown stubble. He is really tall and has a well-built body. He looks gorgeous.

"Ahem...." He clears his throat and that's when i realize i was literally gawking at him till now and am still in his secure and safe hold.

I blush and pull myself away from him and bent my head whispering "I am fine, thank you". To be honest i was doubtful whether he really heard it. I could feel him moving towards me and suddenly he holds my chin and lifts my head up to meet his beautiful hypnotizing eyes. How i wish to get lost in them. 

"'Get a grip girl" I mentally slap myself.

"Are you really fine" he again asks looking concerned.

He cares for me. God i feel butterflies inside my tummy. Literally no one has made me feel this way till now. 

I open my mouth to say something but then close it not being able to find my voice. I just nod my head and a relief flashes over his face.

"You shouldn't be here...It’s not safe for you..." He states looking serious and i look at him confused.

"Sorry.. What..?" I find my voice back.

"Serene, What are you doing here, Its already six, we have to go or else will miss the movie.." Aria comes searching for me and that's when i realize i literally forgot the time. Was i hypnotized or something. I turn towards the handsome stranger to find him vanished. 

Now this is really confusing. Was i dreaming or something? No that can't be right?

"Who was that handsome stranger who hypnotized me? Why did i feel safe in his arms? Why was i feeling all calm with him?...God!!! What is with all these strange happenings in my life all of a sudden..." My train of thoughts were broken by Aria yelling at me for wasting the time here and she literally started dragging me out of the coffee shop.

Michael and Lisa were waiting outside the theatre for us. Lisa looks worried and I know it’s because of me.

I smile sheepishly at them and Lisa comes forward asking "  Are you alright? Why did you take this much time?"

"Don’t worry Lis, I am fine and sorry for delaying.." I assure her and didn't want to go into details about what happened here in front of Michael. No offence but still, somewhere inside i still didn't trust him.

"But...Why do you smell like that..." He asked looking confused at me.

"Sorry?" What do i smell like?" I was more than confused and annoyed by his question.

"Oh.. Nothing.. Just like a.. a cappuccino.." He blurts and laughs nervously...

I narrow my eyes at him...."Michael, Wh...'" I was interrupted suddenly by Aria who was beyond angry.

"Will you guys please stop this bickering and get inside the theatre to watch the movie. Already we have missed the beginning, I don't want to miss the complete movie.. So please..." She snapped.

What is with her temper? She is losing her temper way too fastly today. Anyways i don't ponder much on that instead we enter inside and find the seat and start watching the movie.

Half of the movie has already got over and i believe the movie is about a teenage love story. To be honest I don't know how the movie was because i was not able to pay attention. My mind was revolving around that strange handsome man and all that was happening around me. Not able to sit there further watching movie i tell my friends that i am going outside. I really needed fresh air.

Do you want me to come with you? Lisa enquires but i didn't want her to miss the movie because of me so, I shook my head saying no and walk outside the door. I reach outside the mall and feel a bit refreshing coming out of that dark room and being able to breathe fresh air.

I take my phone out to see what time it is...Oh, its 8, still one more hour for the movie to finish. I didn't have any option than going back inside. After all it is really dark outside here and moreover there are no people around here. I turn to head back to my friends but is met with a black cold eyes. I step back as the guy was standing way too close for my liking.

"Woah!! Princess, you are really beautiful..." He speaks with a wicked grin on his face.

Everything was wrong about this guy. His eyes were cold and dead and his wicked grin...I shiver looking at him. He looks creepy... I take a step back again.

"No use of moving away, princess....You don't have anywhere to escape now....I am going to take you with me to my king.. You have no idea how happy he will be to have you finally..." He sneers at me and not a single word made any sense to me but I didn't wanted to listen more to know that i am in danger...I scream and start running the opposite side towards the wood. Once again I am back in the woods not knowing where i am running or from whom i am running.

Who wanted to kill me and why? Who is this king? ... Is this all a nightmare? If so, god please wake me up soon. I want to be out of this. I want to be backing home, in my safe haven. 

My body aches badly. I am feeling tired and hurt, but i know if i stop now he will catch me and i wouldn't be able to escape. I don't want to die like this. I keep running and try to glance back to know whether he is still following but to my luck there was no one. I was more than relieved. I was crying, tired and out of breath from running. All I wanted was to rest. I decide to find the way out.

"Done with your hide and seek, princess?" I jump from fright hearing to that evil sound.

I was wrong, i was not lucky. The creepy guy is standing in front of me grinning evilly. He is not sweating or even breathing hard. How was that possible?

He moves towards me and all i could do was hug myself to find some safety in that. But i knew, there is no escape now.

 I close my eyes and waited for the inevitable....
