FIRST ANGLE

Laurel stirred awake to the distant sound of pots and laughing kids. She groaned and laid back again hoping to fall back asleep but it was a lost cause. She groaned again and slowly opened her eyes. She lazily felt around for the bedside clock and checked the time through squinted eyes. She sprang up so quickly her head spun. f**k! It was past 8am. She hurriedly reached for her robe and slipped into it,she immediately left the room and walked downstairs. She got to the living room and glanced at the television, she smiled when she saw the cartoon channel was on. She proceeded to the kitchen and stood at the doorway, silently watching the kids argue about something she had no idea about. Her first daughter Avery seemed very uninterested in her siblings' conversations with their dad. She still had the milk jar and cereal pack in front of her plate while she lazily scrolled through her phone. I really shouldn't have given her a phone this quickly, laurel thought. Her husband was the first to notice her standing by the doorway. ‘Oh hey honey, you're awake. How did you sleep?’. Before she could reply the kids all turned towards her and screamed ‘Mom!!!’. She winced at how loud they sounded to her still processing brain. They all rushed towards her and she braced herself for the impact. She was right to do that because they all lounged at her. She first caught Axel and hurled him to her side, she barely managed to catch Iris, her little girl mid air. Avery was too big to be carried so she only got a hug and a peck on the head. The little ones always mocked her for not getting married. Avery rolled her eyes and flipped her hair. Laurel chuckled, typical teenage behavior. She shuffled through the kitchen, put the kids down and took a seat. Alex was just setting the plate of pancakes just as she sat down, she helped dish the kids food and sent them off to the dining. Alex finished washing up and hung the apron, she went around the kitchen island and hugged him. He smiled and pecked her nose, “Did you sleep well baby?” he asked her again. She sighed, “yeah I guess. Why didn't you wake me?,I would have made breakfast”. He laughed and held her face, “You do that all the time, I wanted to do it today. Besides you were up late and you looked really tired so I know you needed your sleep”. She smiled softly and looked up at him, “Aww, you spoil me baby” she said laying her hands softly on his chest. Alex looked at her and you could visibly tell that some tension was building up. Alex groaned lowly and reached for her pulling her by her hair. He kissed her slowly and he felt laurel's body melt in his arms and her breathing quicken. He felt around her big t-shirt until he touched her skin. It was hot, just how he liked to make her feel. He reached for her subtle breast and took a budding n****e into his palm. He lightly pinched it and laurel moaned not quite quietly and threw her head back in pleasure. He took that moment to suck and bite on her supple alluring neck. Laurel stiffened a moan and reached into his hair and held him close. Alex moaned, f**k he loved when she did that,it drove him insane. He switched n*****s,twisted and pinched until laurel was almost quaking with pleasure. She clawed greedily at his back,he tried to stiffen a wince. He loved it but her nails were a bit long and f**k it was hurting. That was definitely going to bruise. Just as he started to reach into her shorts to feel her folds and wetness,he was certain she had he heard a shuffle and then the kids voice. “Ooh my God, Dad!! Mom!! Ewww!!”. They both snapped out of it. Laurel quickly jumped down from the island she had somehow put herself on somewhere amid everything. She turned to the kids to see a very disgusted Avery while Iris and Axel closed their eyes with their palms and made gagging noises. Avery took their plates and shooed her siblings off, then proceeded to drop it in the sink. She turned to her parents with her arms on her hips, she looked like an upset mother about to give her naughty kids a scolding which she did. “First off Mom,Dad get a room. Also this is the kitchen Dad!! We make food here I don't want the gross image of you both making out while I'm eating okay?”. They both mockingly saluted while trying to stiffen a laugh, “Got it ma'am”. “Good, I'm gonna go dress up and have them ready and waiting by the car for you. I'm taking the bus today”. Laurel attempted to interject but Alex stopped her, signaling her to let Avery be. She sighed and agreed, “Alright munchkin, don't forget your lunch and phone”. “Eww mum don't call me that” Avery said, rolling her eyes as she walked away. Laurel went after her in a mock chase. “Did you just roll your eyes at me young lady?, you better hope I don't catch you”. Avery screeched and bolted for her room. She barely managed to get in and lock the door before laurel could catch her. Laurel laughed and turned away walking back to Alex who was still in the kitchen. He laughed lightly upon seeing her, “I guess that counts as morning exercise since you missed it this morning”. He walked towards her and hugged her. He placed her head on his shoulder as they were basically the same height and stroked her hair. “I'll go drop the kids and you can take your time getting ready and leaving for the office. I don't have to go in for work until later in the day”. She smiled at the kind gesture and pecked his cheek, “Thanks honey,I'll go have my bath. I might be gone before you get back though” “Alright then baby,I'll see you when I see you” he said and smiled. She turned away and left. _Hours later at the office_ It was barely past lunch time and laurel had enough headache to last her a week. She wished she could leave her office right now and go home and have a soak in the jacuzzi and splurge on white wine and a foot massage from Alex, lord bless his hands. God that sounded heavenly, but she had 2 more meetings and a monthly brief assessment with her employees before she could leave the office. She swirled around on the chair and walked to the end of her office and looked out at the city. It was alive with people and the constant loud honking of various car horns as expected of New York. She didn't quite know how long she stood there gazing out to the busy streets but she came back to reality from her assistant calling out her name. She turned to the small fair petite girl. When their gaze met, Lucy visibly turned red. She lowered her gaze perhaps in her attempt to hide the blush and color creeping up her cheeks and face but even her neck was pink. Laurel was tempted to chuckle and tease her like she did a few times but she refrained herself. This was her worker, she was married and it was wrong. God she didn't know how many times she had had to repeat that mantra to herself to stop her from doing things she knew she would greatly regret. She cleared her throat and walked back to her seat. She slowly eased into her seat while waiting for Lucy to regain herself. She seemed to do that almost immediately and began filling her in on her schedule for the rest of the day. She tiredly groaned when she heard she infact had 3 meetings and not 2 like she initially thought. She sent Lucy to go get her a glass of juice from her little office refrigerator. She took a big gulp of the cold liquid. It definitely helped in cooling her down a bit. She sent Lucy off and decided to relax a bit till it was time for the first meeting.
