I left Isabella's bedroom before it got light outside. I would have wanted Isabella to wake up right next to me, but I couldn't risk her mother finding me in her bedroom. I already have issues with my family not agreeing to my relationship with Isabella. I don’t want her mother to object to our relationship too.
When Isabella asked what I would do if my parents asked me to choose between her and my family, I deflected and told her not to worry. I didn’t really answer her question, because I honestly did not know what to do. I am torn between my responsibility to my family and my love for Isabella.
