Lola POV I frown, but none of them pay me any heed, it’s like I’m not even here anymore and I’m the third wheel. She is giggling and has her arms looped through both of theirs, while her friends are just giving me nasty looks. I decide to not play my cards yet and see how this turns out, but it’s taking everything in me to remain calm. I didn’t want to be here in the first place, but I certainly want to leave now. As they are conversing and she is giggling and batting her eyelashes like a 5 year old, I clear my throat and ask again “you didn’t answer me. What time are we finished?”, keeping my face stoic and void of any emotions. All heads turn my way and it’s like they had completely forgotten I’m here, and my rage multiplies. They insisted on this, not me! I didn’t even want to be here
