CHAPTER 1: TWO DAYS BEFORE THE SUMMONING

*Two Days Before The Summoning*

Julian's Point of View

**Alarm: 6:30 am**

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

*SLAM*

"Ngh…" I groaned as I woke up. I tried to sit up but stopped when I felt something on my waist, I looked at that so called something and found an arm.

"Mmh…"

I looked at my side and almost screamed when I saw a woman beside me, "What the hell happened last night?" I asked myself. I removed her arm which is on top of my waist as slowly as possible and immediately stood up and wore my clothes.

I looked around as I wore my clothes and realized that I am in my own bedroom. I sighed and stopped what I was doing. I looked at the woman who was in my bed and began to walk towards her side of the bed, still in my boxers.

"Hey you wake up…" I said, tapping her shoulder lightly. She moaned and stirred, now facing me but her eyes still closed.

I'm starting to get annoyed so I tried tapping her again but a bit harder than the first one. I waited for her to wake up but all she did was turn her back on me.

"Wake up." I half yelled, this woman is testing my patience. She still didn't wake up, so I did what I had to do. I grabbed the edge of the blanket and pulled it away from her, and may I remind you my room is freezing and I love sleeping in the cold.

"Eek!..." She yelped, immediately sitting up as she tried to pull the blanket back. "Give that back!" She shouted, I just looked at her deadpan and said "Get out."

"Huh?" She looked at me, I can tell that she's still sleepy but I don't care.

"Didn't you hear me? I said get out." I repeatedly said. she looked at me for more than 2 minutes, still naked and said, "Wow, your rudeness is topnotch."

I just shrugged, still looking at her with disinterest. She stood up then slapped me in the face, which made me tilt my head. I touched the place where she slapped me and let me tell you, it hurts like a b***h. After she slapped me, she quickly picked up her clothes and went out of my room. I just sighed and rubbed the area where she slapped me. In a few minutes, I heard the front door slam.

I just chuckled and went to the bathroom.

*Time Skipped*

**7:30 am**

"Dude, where were you last night?" Jameson, a colleague of mine, asked me.

I just shrugged and took a sip of my coffee. He just chuckled and started talking about the party that happened last night, that I don't have the memory of. Maybe I drank too much and got wasted, I just mentally shrugged and enjoyed my coffee.

I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Julian Hussein, I'm 25 years old, I have a younger twin sister and I work as a Pharmaceutical Scientist. Yes, I may be a douche but this douche is a genius. I was the one who discovered the cure for cancer and other deadly "incurable" illnesses, and because of that I was given a nobel prize.

Anyways as me and Jameson made our way towards our lab, I heard a voice calling my name.

"Julian Hussein!" I searched for the voice who was calling my name and found an angry woman making her way towards me.

Once she finally reached me, she raised her hand and slapped me in the face.

"What the f**k?!" I yelled, getting angry.

"Never go near my bestie again!" She yelled, then turned her back on me.

"Pfft… Hahahahahahah!" I heard Jameson laughed. I just glared at him and started walking again.

"Second time! Damn it!" I cussed, as I rubbed the place I got slapped at for a second time.

*Time Skipped*

**6:00 pm**

I'm on my way home, still grumpy about what happened earlier. "Who gave them permission to slap me in the face?" I whispered to myself. "It's not my fault, I don't remember nor I give a damn about what happened yesterday." I stated. I just sighed and continued to walk.

I'm almost at my doorstep when my phone rang. I checked the caller and groaned,

♡The Nice Twin♡ is calling...

"Can my day get any better!?" I grumbled, but answered the phone.

"What do you want?" I said, annoyance can be heard through my voice.

"No Hi or Hello? This is why I'm the nice twin." I heard her say the other line.

I just rolled my eyes then said, "What do you want Julia? I'm tired and got slapped twice so you better start talking or I'll turn off the phone."

"Pfft… ahahahahaha!!! YOU GOT SLAPPED?!?" I just groaned, as I move my phone away from me, this woman has no delicacy. I just waited for her to calm down, which took more than a minute.

"Anyways, I want you to help me in my Cafe tomorrow." She stated.

"Why? I have work tomorrow." I said, which is not really true tho, I finished typing the theory of my research, all I need to do is to start testing it. I'm trying to find a way to cure Alzheimers, so I need to give my full attention to it.

"Come on just for a few hours in the afternoon, please big bro." I sighed, still contemplating if I should agree or not. This research is too important.

"Please big brother." I can hear her using the puppy voice that I hate so much.

"Ah s**t… I told you to stop using that voice." I said, dreading myself for being such a siscon.

She just giggled and started cheering as if she won something. I just sighed and shook my head.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I said, smiling as I waited for her reply.

"Yup! See you tomorrow!" She said, then she ended the call.

I just sighed, then unlocked my door. I immediately went in and took off my coat.

"Maybe I should wake up early, so I could go to work and do a couple of tests." I said, talking to myself as I walked to my living room.

"Yup… sounds like a plan." I said, sighing for the nth time.
