Sophia and Alex overpowered Lewis, but not before he revealed a shocking truth: Sophia's own father, the police commissioner, was secretly working with the cartel. Sophia's world was turned upside down. She felt like her whole life had been a lie. Alex's eyes locked onto hers, filled with concern. "Sophia, I'm so sorry. We'll get through this together." But Sophia was numb, her mind reeling with questions. How could her own father betray her like this? As they left the rooftop, Sophia knew she had to confront her father. But what she found at the police station shook her to her core... Her father's office was empty, except for a note on the desk. "Meet me at the old warehouse at midnight. Come alone." As she stepped out of the hideout, Sophia's senses went on high alert. She scanned her surroundings, looking for any sign of danger. But everything seemed quiet, too quiet. Sophia took a deep breath and started to walk, her eyes scanning the trees for any sign of movement. She knew she had to get as far away from Alex and the hideout as possible. But with each step, Sophia felt like she was walking further into danger. She couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched, that James and Carlos were waiting for her around every corner. And then, Sophia heard it. A rustling in the bushes. She spun around, her heart racing...
