Austin had seen Madison bleed. He had seen her bound, broken, trembling. He had seen bruises on her skin and blood on her lips.
But this… this was different. This is not just physical injury. It is something attacking her from the inside. And he doesn’t know how to stop it!
“How can I help you? Tell me Madison. Please!” Austin is desperate to do anything to help her. But she cannot say a word! She tried to speak, but another wave of Dylan’s Alpha command crashed into her mind, and a cry tore from her throat. Austin’s jaw clenched so hard it hurt. Every instinct in his body screamed at him to rip someone apart.
His wolf was already pacing under his skin, roaring, wanting blood.
He slid an arm under Madison’s back and lifted her easily, settling her against his chest.
