Aria's POV
Ever since I have opened my eyes in this so-called world of feelings, I’ve had this strange instinct that this isn't the world where we can live in. This is something we are unfamiliar with. And Celeste...I know she may be different from me but I can't help and question why she was so interested in this realm.
Nevertheless, I have a duty to prevent further disasters. Hence, I played along with her to figure out what she exactly wants.
We went to this strangely built house; it had a small de-colored front gate that opened into a cramped lounge. I could smell strong, uncomfortable aroma that hung inside and presence of heavy atmosphere. I couldn’t even gulp the saliva properly and covered my nose.
The paints of those walls shedding like skin and barely any light came from dusty windows. Enough to summarize the situation of this family we were sent to.
I glanced at Celeste and she looked at it with a disappointing face. What did she expect? This is a punishment after all.
The kid went into his room without making any sound and we followed him in silence as well.
"What is this? Why is it like that?" Celeste whispered being fully aware that if we spoke loudly we can stir up something that shouldn't be awakened.
I shrugged.

Part 6
A Disturbing Moment
______________________________________
We entered Dylan's room and were bewildered to see such a congested, cramped room, filled with cans and splattered clothes on the floor, he had a bed which was no larger than his own height.
'How was he even able to properly sleep all this time?' I questioned the sight in front of me but alas that I couldn't bring myself to ask the boy.
He just looked at us dejected and smiled faintly, "Are you two lost again?" he asked while putting his bag down beside the bed.
"Uhm no we just wanted to see your room again... Yes, that's why we are here." Celeste spoke with some panic.
I mentally facepalmed at her attempt to lie in front of a kid. But to my surprise his reply was a strange one.
"It's alright, you two rarely visit me anyway." he was looking down and fiddling with his fingers.
"I guess we should go to our room Lisa." I nudged her a little and she understood.
"Well, we will see you later brother." she said trying to sound cheery but he gave us a shocked reaction to which I thought was unusual.
Maybe these sisters were not like how we are acting at all.
When we went to our room which was next to Dylan's, it had a rusty smell, two beds, typical bunks, a side table, a small closet and the same dusty window as Dylan's.
As we examined the room, we saw many things scattered and uncared for.
On top of the table we found a note, which has not been opened yet.
We looked at each other and agreed to open and read it.
It was addressed to Dylan and "parents"
Dear Parents and our brother,
We have had enough of your taunts and tantrums each and everyday.
How could you not see the damage that your behavior had inflicted on us?
How could you be so blind to self hatred? What went wrong between us? The outsiders may not see it but the ones who suffer feel and absorb assailant's feelings and kill their own.
And now we must complain.
If hell was a place it would be our home.
We do not wish to become like you.
We do not expect you to read this but there should be an evidence of why we did it.
Not that you care about how much we have suffered.
But thank you for letting us live in this hole for all these past years.
Please give love to Dylan which you couldn't give to us.
Farewell.
Your Daughters.
We were stunned by this suicidal letter.
"So they..." Celeste trailed off.
"Yes, they did... That's what I told you." I sighed and shook my head. There was a strange tingling inside my heart which pained me.
"Wait but, how did they end up like that?" Not understanding their awful situation Celeste wanted to know more.
But then,
A crashing noise came from outside and we turned ourselves towards the opened door of the room
“What happened?” Celeste asked in a hushed tone.
I looked at Celeste with worry written on both of our faces,
"We are about to figure that out."
We ran outside the creaking door and just when we were about to walk down the stairs we halted.
Kylie! Lisa!" came a trembling yet shouting voice.
It was so shrill that I had to cover my ears and furrowed my eyes in disturbance.
We slowly went downstairs to see who the trembling voice belonged to.
There was this woman in her mid-thirties, she seemed awfully unstable in her stature and swaying on her way to the stairs. She kicked the cans and trash bags with such anger that they busted out and spread across the place.
The smell made my stomach almost throw out anything that was in it. It pained me and I looked at Celeste in horror. Her body was shaking and her breath was uneven.
Terror, confusion and anger... the things that I had never felt before was now thrust upon me in this very moment.
