“My loyal pack members, today is a sorrowful day, one that I’m sure none of us will forget quickly,” I spoke loudly, addressing hundreds of sad eyes, “I will not let our comrades’ deaths be in vain. There will be no rest until those who committed this heinous crime are held accountable. But for tonight, let us celebrate the lives that were sadly lost and wish them luck on their journey to the afterlife.”   The applause that broke out was lack-lustre, but I could see my mother silently nodding her head to me in approval.
