I had heard everything Valerie went through, and sometimes I felt like I was in her place, except for the beating part. Being betrayed by people we love or care about is one of the worst feelings one could experience. Knowing you trusted the person, loved them, considered them important, and then getting stabbed in the back one or multiple times was tough. But just as I felt like her, I grew even angrier.
