Chapter 7 - One little tug

1563 Words
Freya didn't exactly jump at the opportunity to go running with Chloe. "It's freezing out there," she whined as Chloe practically pushed her towards the front door. "Can't we just have a cozy day inside?" She pouted with her full lips, resembling an overgrown child. "Girl, you're a werewolf," Chloe laughed. "You won't even feel the cold once you've shifted." Freya rolled her eyes. "That may be true, but I still have to walk all the way over to the woods wearing nothing but this robe," she said, gesturing to her fluffy white cotton bathrobe that she tugged closer around her body. "And it's daytime, Chloe. Daytime! We're not even doing this under the cover of darkness." “We’ll be fine,” Chloe grinned. “Come on now. You have to show me the beautiful surroundings!” They put on some thick classical ugg boots before heading out, Freya reluctantly eyeing the landscape out the window before they left. “I would prefer if we could watch some fun Netflix series instead,” she murmured, letting her long auburn locks fall down her shoulders. “We can do that later;” Chloe urged her out through the door. “After you’ve shown me that famous sauna of yours!” Marcus had briefly met them over breakfast, and with Juliette out of the picture, the conversation had flowed more smoothly. Chloe couldn't help but notice how much more relaxed he seemed, cracking jokes and teasing like his usual charming self. She found herself laughing along with him and enjoying his company more than she had anticipated. But just as quickly as he had arrived, Marcus excused himself to go train with the Emerald pack fighting squad. “It’s not as big or skilled as yours,” he had smiled. “But we’re working on it!” He had also mentioned the fighting squad usually went to the sauna to soothe their tired and aching bodies after their intense training sessions, claiming it to be the most ultimate form of relaxation and rehabilitation. “Sauna isn’t exactly my favourite thing either,” Freya grimaced. “It’s too hot!” “You’re such a wuzz,” Chloe teased her. “Now come on”. Together, Chloe and Freya walked out into the crisp winter air, their breaths forming puffs of smoke in front of them. The sky was clear and blue, the snow-covered ground sparkling in the sunlight. When they reached the edge of the woods, Chloe quickly shed her robe and hung it on a nearby branch. Freya hesitated for a moment before following suit. "Ready?" Chloe asked, daringly quirking up a brow, standing stark nude in her winter boots. “A long time ago!” Freya chattered her teeth, hugging her tiny freckly body. Taking a deep breath, Chloe shifted into her wolf form. Freya did the same, and they both took off at a sprint, their sleek bodies glistening in the sunlight. Two majestic wolves, one with sleek black fur and the other with a lustrous copper coat, were running side by side through the woods, the sunlight dancing on their glossy fur as they moved through the trees. They pushed themselves up the mountain, their paws kicking up powdery snow with each stride. When they finally arrived at the top, they stood still, panting with exertion and taking in the stunning sight before their eyes. Spread out before them was the vast, snow-covered valley that stretched out as far as the eye could see. The Emerald Lake shimmered like a dazzling jewel at its center, surrounded by towering pine trees and rolling hills. The blue sky above them was utterly cloudless, a perfect contrast to the bright white snow that blanketed the ground. “Wow, what a view! It feels like we’re on the top of the world,” Chloe breathed happily. “Yeah, sure,” Freya panted, struggling to catch her breath. “Goddess, you’re fast.” Together, the two wolves stood majestically at the edge, admiring Emerald Lake pack’s territory below. “Is that your fighter squad?” Chloe noticed a group of individuals gathering near a tiny wooden cabin by the lake. “Yes, it looks like they’re getting ready for a sauna,” Freya scanned the area and confirmed. “Come, let’s join them!” Chloe was filled with excitement as she bolted down the mountain slope. “Wait for me!” Freya whined, struggling to keep up with her. As they arrived by the rustic little cabin, Marcus and his fellow fighters were already inside, enjoying the warmth. Spotting their arrival, Marcus came out wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. His chiseled abs and firm chest were already glistening with sweat, and his freckly cheeks were blushed from the heat. He greeted them with a wide grin, holding two large towels in his hands. “My lady,” his blue eyes twinkled as he looked at Chloe. “I’m happy you decided to join us!” As Chloe and Freya shifted, he handed them each a plush towel and they wrapped themselves up. “Of course, I wouldn’t miss it for anything,” Chloe smiled and pulled a strand of her hair behind her ear as she met his gaze. He towered over her, and for a moment, she could barely resist the urge to trail her finger down his glistening chest. Gallantly, Marcus held the door open for them, ushering the girls inside. "Alright everyone, meet Chloe from the Black Wolves of the River Valley pack," Marcus announced, drawing all eyes to Chloe, and she almost felt embarrassed under their gazes. “Hi, I’m Maeve,” a friendly looking young woman with short brown bob patted on the seat next to her. “Come, sit here!" Chloe took her seat and Maeve continued. "So, you are the famous Chloe, we’ve heard so much about you.” "Really?" Chloe raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Oh, only good things," Maeve assured her with a playful wink. "I can't believe you managed to bring Freya with you! We hardly ever see her these days." "I've been studying," Freya chimed in with a smirk. "Combat practice isn't really my thing." Maeve turned her attention back to Chloe. "So, are you as much of a princess as your highness here?" she teased, eliciting a playful tongue sticking out from Freya. "Chloe is a true warrior," Marcus interjected, pouring water onto the sauna unit, making it sizzle and fill the room with hot steam. He took a seat next to Chloe, so close that their arms nearly touched. The heat of the sauna was almost too hot to bear, Chloe had never experienced anything like it before. It was an intense experience, and she let out a deep sigh as beads of sweat trickled down between her breasts. "Are you feeling alright?" Marcus asked, a playful smile dancing on his lips. Chloe took a deep breath. "I'm fine," she managed to reply. "Come sit here, below me on the lower bench. The air is not as hot there," Marcus instructed, taking her hand and guiding her down a step. Chloe willingly allowed him to place her in front of him. As he started to massage her shoulders, she had to bite her lip to not whine as he kneaded a sensitive spot on her neck. “So tense,” he breathed. "I have trouble sleeping," Chloe admitted, her breath hitching as a little moan escaped her lips, eliciting a chuckle from Maeve. "I'm sure Marcus can help ease your pain,” Maeve teased, her light blue eyes full of mischief. Chloe wasn’t complaining, Marcus was clearly knowing what he was doing as he continued to work out the knots in her shoulders and her neck, his fingers firm still gentle. With each passing moment, she found herself growing more and more relaxed, until she finally was melting in his hands! If he continued like this, she would soon be ready and willing to do anything he desired... “OK, time for a dip!” one of the fighters suddenly announced, standing up and heading towards the door. “A dip?” Chloe woke up from her haze, feeling confused. “In the lake of course!” Maeve giggled as she ran her hands through her short brown locks, her breasts bouncing out of her towel as she did. “Come on!” “I’ll go back to the house,” Freya wrinkled her nose. “This is really not my cup of tea. Want to come with me?” Chloe hesitated, her eyes lingering on Marcus as he stood up and held out his hand to her. The towel around his waist, barely covering anything, was right before her nose... Just one little tug, and it would be gone! Maeve spoke up before Chloe could decide, “Come on, Chloe. A true warrior is never afraid of a little lake swim.” “I’ll catch up with you later.” Chloe gave Freya an apologetic look, “No worries,” Freya waved her off with a smile. “Behave,” she pointed her finger at Marcus, who’s grin grew wider for every passing second. “Always do, Your Highness,” he gave her a wink before he turned back to Chloe, holding out his hand. “Shall we?”
