18 THAYU AND I GLANCED at each other, and then looked at Nicha. What the hell? Did this mean that we could come with them? The other Tamerians followed the first ones, ignoring us. They returned to marching in their straight lines, with serious faces, and acting as if we weren’t there. I called out, “Come on, let’s go.” I stepped into line with the rear part of the army.
