Chapter 4 another subordinate, three nudist attackers!

"Who goes there?"

The low yet hoarse voice of the approaching bandit wearing dirty rags with a wolf hides over his torso made Ryan immediately squat before moving close to the Shoji door(paper doors that slide). The Bandit's voice wasn't loud. Still, it definitely caused one of the people on the guard tower to look.

Ryan prepared a fainting shuriken just in case as the light of the guard's lantern made it obvious how close he was, but the bandit said something that gave him an idea.

"Are you guys having fun with one of our girls again?"

Ryan kept quiet but moved to one of the beds in pressed down to make it creak with a 'certain' rhythm. The bandit snorted before whispering with a perverse undertone.

"Just don't make it too loose. It's supposed to be my turn when my shift's done!"

Then Ryan slowed the creaking down as if to relay a good response to the guard. The bandit had a goofy grin on his face before humming to himself while leaving as the person on the guard tower asked his partner.

"You think they're at it again?"

the person he asked had an obscene look on his face before nodding.

They returned to their watch while Ryan releases a sigh of relief before resuming the task at hand.

Ryan quietly exited the shack the same way he entered before asking Rei if she could handle the guards in the guard towers.

She gave the intended targets a hard look before stating.

"As long as they aren't more than three, I can kill them quietly."

Happy at this response, Raian told her that he'd leave the tower guards to her! While takes care of the ground, people!

They worked well together, clearing 15 bandits without any problems all while the spoils were this.

while the money was welcome, Raian would've preferred more stuff, but beggars can't be choosers, so gotta make do with what we have as after killing the 15 bandits plus the seven at the shack, it was only a matter of time before we are found out if we act too slow.

*Clang clang clang clang clang*

The sound of the alarm bell was going off, making it obvious that one of the bandits had discovered that something was wrong!

Thus since he was in plain sight, Raian ordered Rei to shoot him down as they'll be fighting in the open from now on!

Being such an excellent archer, her arrow embedded itself in the man's throat before the victim started gurgling then fell from the guard tower!

Some of the more hot-headed bandits came charging, which were eight led by a young female bandit wearing wolf hide as crude clothes like the rest of them. She had a katana at her side, with a ferocious look as the wolf head hid most of her features, the woman had a well-toned body, strong legs, medium-sized breasts, but her butt was bigger than Rei's.

Raian drew his blade, and kunai then met their charge while rei was to retreat and reduce their numbers with some arrows before joining him with a spear.

He released a warcry before clashing weapons with the nearest bandit, who was still intimidated by his shout. That was when he discovered something weird...

The bandit he 'lightly' collided with was struggling a lot to stay his ground. The hands that held his sword were bleeding, and his strained look with bulging veins on his arms and neck made an obvious sign that...

They were weak.

Incredibly so!

So to test his theory, Raian swiftly delivered a kick to which not only sent the bandit he clashed with flying to another, but the said bandit made an audible crack as he puked out blood!

A moment of silence brewed in the area as EVERYONE looked at the damage that raian had just done...

One of the Bandits dropped his sword while screaming out.

"f**k this s**t! I'm out!"

But Rei was the second person to recollect themselves before firing an arrow the wedged itself into the escapee's skull as the victim made a disturbing grunt!

This spurred the bandit to all to attack at once while their leader headed for Rei. Raian focused on parrying and deflecting their attacks while delivering swift punches and kicks to lighten up the pressure he was receiving, causing one of their attacks to land on the downed companion of theirs through the head, ending the life of the one that could've helped them if they managed to distract him long enough, but they didn't care.

The bandits continued to attack in erratic ways, not caring for each other, as fear and anger, they felt towards the man before they caused them to not only harm each other but also waste a lot of stamina with one swing to just hit him even if they ended up hitting their allies in the process to which was mostly avoided by the Shinobi.

What did you expect?

Perfect dodge?

Sorry, he's only human, so of course, there were a few cuts and a stab thanks to how crazily these men were attacking!

But despite these injuries, This helped Raian understand that this new body of his was definitely stronger than his previous one as by how much he wasn't sure right now.

As while he was bleeding quite a bit trying to keep up with these bastards, he wasn't exhausted, somewhat labored breathing, but that was it~

However, that was STILL enough to handle 6 men that aren't properly trained and lacked the proper team coordination, their lack of control, and rash attempts even to scratch him at the expense of so much energy.

But he also made sure not to expend so much either.

As there were four more bandits left, including the leader, so only an i***t would act the same as his six enemies that were heaving.

While Rei was kicking some ass!

*CLANG CLANG*

The female leader was pushed back a few steps while her hands shook from how heavy-handed Rei was. Thanks to her skill, seeing their leader's situation was going through, one of them screamed out.

"lieutenant!"

Raian was about to give the man their moment since it was 'common courtesy' for friends and allies as he caught his breath while their attention wasn't on him but what the man said next was totally unexpected!

"YOU WEAK SLUT! WE ARE GOING TO DIE AT THIS RATE BECAUSE OF YOU!!"

Raian looked at the man for a bit before picking his ear to check if he was just hearing things, but the bastard went on, as did the others!

"YOU AIN'T A F*CKING WARRIOR, HELL I'M PROBABLY A BETTER WARRIOR THAN YOU!"

Their insults went on and on, completely forgetting about their opponent in front of them as they succeeded in completely demoralizing their own teammate as they laughed aloud before Raian finally had enough of this foolishness and finished these idiots off that each released a bloody squeal.

While Rei looked towards him with an inquiring look as to what to do with the crying mess of a woman that was fighting against her earlier, they certainly lost the motivation to kill her, and she certainly wasn't in a fighting mood.

Thus Raian Approached the Crying girl while asking her this.

"If I told you I could make you many times stronger than now, however, it may not be according to what you'd want. Would you follow me? at least by doing so, not only will you be treated well be also equipped according to your skills."

The girl somewhat whimpered before asking from the corner of her eye.

"do-do you promise?"

This may seem simple, but you'd be surprised by how quickly people can betray you for certain things as well as during this time and age, giving your word was the greatest thing one can do it was like putting one's honor at stake, so with a simple nod from him not only did the girl completely calm down but also caused a change in the mission as well as the subordinate tab!

Eliminate or chase away all of the gang members in the said location 28/32 44 Ryo per bandit

Welp, she's useless for the frontlines but deadly for any ranged situations even better than Rei!

And these bastards called her a weak warrior!?

Raian immediately handed her a bow and all of his arrows before telling her this!

"Any enemies you see shot them~ don't worry about wasting any arrows just let loose~."

Raian was in a good mood. Rei could sense that to which made her feel down as the girl assumed that she was being replaced at least until Raian called out to her.

"Rei, what are you waiting for? Hurry up, and we gotta finish this mission and head back. I still need to talk to you about some things after this!"

The woman released a sigh of relief before skipping along as the two girls locked gazes with each other!

There was a brief silence before they nodded to one another then shook each other's hand!

Rivalry or sisterhood? Saa dou kana~

Now it was time to bring an end to this mission.

Raian was looking forward to the other rewards as he wanted to see his old friends able to move around again.

The place that the bandit leader occupied was a large building. According to Tomoe, the captives were being held in the same chambers as the leader who liked both men and women, so their fates were obvious, but there was also another peculiar thing about this bandit boss. He was good-looking, but he liked those that didn't look better than him!

Especially if they had a flat ass!

According to Raian's new subordinate, who had a wry smile while thinking about the next words, was something.

Even the boss bandit's men and women that were in the same category got to experience it, even the six men from before, which brought an awkward silence.

Thanks to how much the Bandit leader loved indulging in his 'hobbies,' there were always 1-3 sub-leaders to take command or be penetrated!

As for why he managed to stay as the leader of this group was naturally due to his strength. Unlike the others that used wolf hides, he used a bear hide with leather padding to better resist swords and weaponry.

But there was one more odd thing about the sub-leaders that are usually with him. None of the others ever got to meet them face to face neither did Tomoe.

This is rather sketchy in Raian's books. However, there isn't much that he can say or do about it since they are about to face them one way or another.

While the building did have a large entrance, he sure as hell wasn't going to be an i***t and enter through there!

That was just asking to spring a possible trap!

Thus the shinobi and his group took another route as Raian tested out his grapple hook for the first time on one of the roof edges while both ladies hugged him from the chest and back. He had no real reaction to this as he trusted them thinking of the two as his comrades in arms that will help him complete his missions from now on, not as some toy to use then toss aside when he was bored of it, such ideas had never come to mind, not now, not ever!

The grappling hook was an interesting mechanism as it was connected to his bracer while he was unable to see the infrastructure on the inside of it. This device was still powerful enough AND silent enough to pull them to the roof without any problems.

Despite saying that, there was one issue.

Upon reaching the roof, the three Sub-leaders were there. Unlike the other bandits that Raian fought or killed, these three emitted a feeling of slight dread making it obvious that they were skilled warriors. At the same time, these three lacked armor AND clothes for reasons better left unsaid, and the naked bandits attacked swiftly, all of them aiming for one person.

And no, it wasn't him they all aimed for Rei!
