Chapter Twenty-Six – The Villa
Inspector Garcia soon arrived at their table and began to wring his hands and apologize for being responsible for allowing Beckmann to escape.
Aubrey interrupted him with a shrug of resignation and began to formulate a plan of action to recapture the little nuisance of a man. He said Horace and he would have to raid Beckmann’s villa right away and would very much appreciate some help. “We don’t know how many guards he’s got up there or how secure the place is. A squad of your policemen would be useful, Inspector.”
