Zayn watched the tactical display, his knuckles white. The red blips on the roof moved with unnatural agility, faster than normal human speed, scaling the sheer dormitory walls with ease. Enhanced individuals. Or Syndicate tech. Perhaps even something more insidious, a ripple from the Guardians' influence. He didn't care. He just wanted them gone.
Aria's terrified whisper broke through again. "Zayn, I hear them! They're in the hallway. They're right outside my door!" Her voice was raw with panic, a sound that twisted Zayn’s gut into a knot of cold fury.
