  Orion   My eyes widened when I saw that flash of red in her eyes. It lit up her dark irises for a second, then vanished.   Before I even realized what I was doing, I stepped forward and reached for her hood, trying to cover that telltale glow before anyone else noticed.   But she caught my wrist with inhuman speed, her grip unshakable.   "What the hell do you think you're doing ?" she growled, her voice low and sharp, laced with a venom I'd never heard from her before.   I froze, my hand hovering mid-air. My heart pounded against my ribs as my eyes darted around. A few classmates glanced our way, curious, but most were still half-asleep, their attention fixed on the professor's droning lecture.   I leaned in, voice low. "Your eyes are red," I whispered. "Someone's gonna notice."
