Chapter 5

During the weekend Carissa and Katelyn had a lot of good time together despite the fact Carissa was worried sick about her friend's wellbeing Katelyn, so this evening Carissa decided to have a heart to heart chatt with her, so she's gonna be preparing a surprise dinner for Katelyn who's a sleep at the moment. Waking up to the aroma of food which filled the air Katelyn lazily walked down the stairs to behold a massive dishes of different kinds of her favorite meal neatly displayed on the dinning table in the dining room, she gasped at the sight of it as her mouth watered.

"what the heck Rissa"!!! Katelyn exclaimed

"You're awake"? Katelyn asked smiling at her

"Are you throwing a party"? Katelyn asked looking around the house

"You fool!! come on let's eat, it's time for dinner already" Carissa said and Katelyn twitched her brow in suspiciousness

"Are you trying to bribe me or something? I mean there's a lot of food and I can't even remember when last you had to prepare so much meal" Katelyn said while taking her seat

"And why would I f*****g bribe you"? Carissa asked giggling

"Then what's the meal all about"? Katelyn asked laughing

"I just felt like making a whole lot of meal for us to eat and also help regain your energy back" Carissa said picking up her spoon and fork

"regain my energy? I mean it's already two weeks since after the incident and I'm fine, like really fine, absolutely fine" Katelyn said smiling broadly revealing her white set of teeth

"And yeah! that brings me to the question, have you ever wondered why what happened between you and Stuart that night happened"? Carissa asked looking at Katelyn's face which immediately lost its smile

"What do you mean"? Katelyn asked picking up her cutleries

"What if Stuart starts liking you after what transpired between you both that day"? Carissa asked looking at Katelyn who raised up her brow in surprise

"How can you think of something like that? you and I knows perfectly well how Stuart is being avoided by women because of his cold character towards them, you know quite well about his lost relationship with "Tracy Mikel" his ex girlfriend" Katelyn said in trying to change the subject

"Girl stop trying to change the topic here, have you thought about giving him the chance to talk things out with you"? Carissa asked rubbing at Katelyn's palm

"Girl?!! what has gotten into you? why talking about him? I mean his not my boyfriend or something and what happened is in the past now and I don't want to have the mindset that someone like him exist" Katelyn sulked

"I'm sorry but I suggest you meet up with him and talk things out,I'm sure what happened between you two is probably eating him up on the inside" Carissa said

"Hmmmm... babe I don't think it's a good idea" Katelyn said and released a deep sigh

"But I think it's a good idea sweetheart" Carissa said pulling Katelyn towards her

"You really think so"? Katelyn asked leaning on her head on Carissa's shoulder

"Yeah baby and I'm persuading you give him just one chance to get to meet you and after that and I won't bother you about him ever again" Carissa said rubbing Katelyn's back

"Just once" Katelyn said curiously looking at Carissa's face

"just once I promise" Carissa said smiling while Katelyn nodded in approval "yeeey! that's my girl"!!! Carissa yelled in excitement.

Author's p.o.v

Carissa put a call across to Stuart informing him about Katelyn's approval to the date and wished him luck but not without giving him a warning not to mess with her girlfriend

"you do what you're supposed to do and don't make her tear up, she has done a lot of that lately and I don't want that for her anymore but if you mess with her then I assure you in gonna forget whom you are in the city and hunt you down, I promise" Carissa said and hanged up the call. Two days later the date was set.

"You really think I should wear this"? Katelyn asked looking at her beautiful blue laced gown from the the mirror which was worth a fortune

"off course I think you should wear it and it looks perfect on you otherwise I wouldn't have spent a fortune getting it for you" Carissa said and Katelyn sighed

"what if he doesn't show up"? Katelyn asked feeling down in her spirit

"I told you last night that I spoke with him and he gave me his words, and I believe he's gonna show up so enough of your "what if" and come on out so I can be your honorable driver" Carissa stressed and they both laughed

"You wanna be my driver" Katelyn asked in surprise

"yes baby"!! Carissa replied rolling her waist trainer

"you f*****g kidding me!! what happened to Bones""? Katelyn asked looking out from the window

"Mr Bones is alright baby okay? I just want to be your personal driver ma'am, got a problem with that"?? Carissa asked and Katelyn chuckled

"you're literally crazy"!! Katelyn said as they walked towards Carissa's silver colored McLaren P1

"But you love me that way" Carissa teased

"Forever" Katelyn said and they both laughed as Carissa drove off in no time they arrived "RAYED RESTAURANT"

"all the best" Carissa said giving Katelyn a hug after which she stepped out of the car and Stuart's bodyguard who were already waiting walked her into the restaurant which had no one else in it except for them, the guard lead Katelyn to the private Vip section which was beautifully decorated with flowers of all kinds and fragrance. Looking around Katelyn couldn't find Stuart anywhere around them and she panicked within but played cool on the inside to avoid tearing up as she thought he wasn't gonna come. Meanwhile on the other hand Stuart was in ad he didn't know how to face nor approach Katelyn, he watched her from a distanced corner of the restaurant but didn't know how to his approach to avoid making her cry

"c'mon man you aren't gonna watch her from a distance all day" Victor said jolting Stuart out of his thought

"I know but I don't know how to approach her, I don't wanna see her cry and looking at her she's too fragile and could breakdown any minute" Stuart said in a solemn voice

"she appears fragile too you but on the inside she's tough and you making her wait shows you are not gonna show up and she would definitely feel really bad and broken" Victor said looking at Katelyn who was quietly sited with a sad look on her face as she was approached by a staff

"what would you like to take ma'am"? the girl who was neatly dressed asked Katelyn who looked up at her and faked a smile

"Nothing sweetheart" Katelyn said and the girl left

"you need to go out there man and make things right" Victor said and walked out leaving Stuart all to himself who after much contemplation walked into the private Vip section to meet Katelyn in a quiet position with a gloom look on her face as he took a sit opposite her

"Hey!!! I'm sorry for making you wait my apologies"! Stuart said and Katelyn nervously faked a smile with nod which shows she's fine despite the fact that she's not

"Carissa said you want to have a word with me" Katelyn said in a low but cold tone

"Ugh... yeah can I at least hold your hand"? Stuart requested and Katelyn withdrew her hand which was placed on the table showing her disapproval "I get it" Stuart said nervously

"want do you want to talk about"? Katelyn asked looking at him

"Ms Scott" Stuart called softly "I know what I did was totally absurd but Please forgive my mistakes. I wish I could go back in time and change my actions. but Please give me a chance to make it up to you; hurting an amazing and beautiful woman like you is the cruelest thing I’ve ever done in my life. And I regret it with every single breath that I take. I know what I did to you was wrong Ms Katelyn and I'm not asking for your forgiveness but if you give me a chance then I will be more than willing to make it up to you" Stuart said calmly in a nervous tone as tears rolled down Katelyn's face "I'm sorry please forgive me"!! Stuart added and Katelyn cried out in pain making Stuart who couldn't bear to see her cry get on his feet and rubbed her back in consolation

"I'm sorry for getting mad at you unnecessarily when a that transpired between us wasn't really your fault and I apologize for that" Katelyn said in between tears as Stuart passed her his kerchief which she used to wipe her face and passed it back to Stuart who stretched his hand across to take the Kerchief but in the process their hands rubbed together making them lock eyes together.

Stuart's p.o.v

Seeing the beautiful woman before me cry broke my heart into piece and I couldn't bear it, I gave her my Kerchief to wipe those tears off her beautiful face to avoid further ruining her makeup which she did and passed the Kerchief back but our hands rubbed together sending a message straight to my heart which fluttered. Looking at her beautiful face which appeared like that of the angel's I realized she's more beautiful than I thought and I couldn't help but smile at her. We talked about a lot of things and got to know each other better after accepting my apology

"I need you in the Empire" Stuart said walking her towards his car as her signaled to his guards to leave that he would be okay with just his driver who happens to be Mr Asher in disguise

"I sure will be there next week" Katelyn said showing a cute smile

"Thank you" Stuart said as he pulled his car door open and Katelyn hopped in while he turned around and got in from the other side of the car

"what for exactly"? Katelyn asked as soon as he relaxed in

"For forgiving my ill act towards you and for accepting to be my friend" Stuart said and Katelyn held his hand in her's

"you need to stop thanking and apologizing to me, perhaps what happened wasn't exactly all your fault and I was mad at you for nothing, actually I was mad at myself not you" Katelyn said as she released a slight sigh and Stuart smiled broadly. After much talk in the car they arrived Carissa's house and Stuart dropped her and left after bidding goodbyes.

Katelyn's p.o.v

Stepping out of his car I felt fulfilled and happy, don't know why but Stuart happens to be such a wonderful person to be around with.i walked towards Carissa's door and opened it up but was a little taken aback when I saw Carissa standing by the door side with her hands widely opened for an embrace and I laughed over her childish character which she never gets tired of, I gave her a warm tight hug and then fell on her sofa

"c'mon girl you need to tell me what happened exactly, you look all happy and I haven't seen this version of you in a couple in a while" Carissa teased and they both laughed

"I'm going back to get my dream job girl" Katelyn yelled happily

"really? you forgave him huh"? Katelyn asked looking at Carissa's hair

"I did and he's just too handsome and even more charming when he smiles girl, I mean that guy is damn cute and fun to be with" Katelyn praised and Carissa chuckled

"you're lucky darling and I wish you the best I your friendship with him" Carissa and Katelyn nodded with a smile on her face
